Alpha's Regret: The Seventh Time was Forever novel Chapter 617

Chapter 617: Chapter 617 - Yes! Alpha Voren scored the goal!

Varieties of alcohol, food, pastries, and any delicacy you could possibly imagine wafted through Seraphine’s nose when they reached the opulent pack ground.

The space was huge, nothing anyone expected from the outside. The scent of roasted meats mingled with fresh bread, exotic spices, and sweet pastries, creating a symphony of aromas that made her head spin.

Outside, everyone would think the Grimroot pack was small, modest, unassuming. But now, standing in the heart of it, it was clear this was the biggest pack ground any of them had ever seen.

The vast expanse stretched in every direction, a cavernous wonderland carved from the heart of the mountain itself.

The last time Seraphine was here, Voren had taken her through the back doors and his secret exits and entrances, carefully shielding her from the full scope of his creation.

She had never seen any of this, the grandeur, the scale, the breathtaking ambition of it all. Even the transparent glass above them had lights embedded within, illuminating every corner with a soft, warm glow.

The moment the pack was locked because of an attack, those lights would fall on emergency power, ensuring safety even in darkness.

To their right, left, front, and back, it was as if they had stepped into a seven-star hotel rather than a werewolf pack. The architecture was stunning, the design flawless. But the middle was truly something else, a vast open space that dominated the center of the pack ground.

"This is our pack ground." Voren’s voice carried a note of pride as he gestured around them. "During spring and early summer, it’s beautiful with a lot of greens and flowers. But right now, it’s just bare land."

He paused, his eyes sweeping across the space with satisfaction. "It can host all pack members in addition to hundreds of guests when we need to have an occasion."

"Like the Blood Moon festival." Seraphine chimed in, her voice warm with excitement.

Voren nodded. "It’s the first time we’ll be having such an event. But the south and west wings are all empty." He pointed toward the distant sections. "Our guests would not share our pack house. They’ll have their own separate quarters."

That was something new, something that gained Seraphine’s full attention. "You really have it all planned out." Her voice carried a mixture of admiration and awe. The level of forethought, the meticulous preparation—it was staggering.

It still ached her that she hadn’t contributed to something so immense, that she hadn’t been there to help build this vision. And Voren had already noticed it, reading her thoughts through the small change in her expression.

His thin lips curved into an amused smile, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Well, you have a lot of work to do."

He gestured toward the empty wings. "Because those parts aren’t furnished. And we have barely a few weeks to host the Blood Moon festival." He raised an eyebrow, challenging her. "Think you’re up for it?"

A smile bloomed onto Seraphine’s lips, bright and genuine. "Thanks for reserving a part of the cake for me, and I’ll check out your lab later to see if it needs expansion." Her voice was soft, touched. It was time for her to contribute to her new pack, and she was so excited she could barely contain herself.

The pack was in a party mood. Party chairs and tables were everywhere, arranged in neat rows and clusters. Voren could see their table and chairs reserved at the front, draped in elegant linens and decorated with small floral arrangements.

"There’s too much food and drinks." Seraphine’s face paled as her stomach began to churn unpleasantly. The rich scents that had once seemed inviting now felt overwhelming, nauseating.

Athaliah felt immediate pity for her, her experience surfacing. She was amazed by how Jasmine had already taken the kids away, whisking them off to safety.

The party was purely for adults, so there were no children in sight, a wise decision given the festivities.
