Bai Su could tell something was off with him. "What on earth is wrong with you? You’ve been like this since early this morning."
Lu Tingyan’s lips finally curled into a smirk. "So, Susu has finally noticed I’m unhappy?"
Bai Su asked, "Who upset you?"
Lu Tingyan replied, "You did."
Bai Su was baffled. "What did I do?"
Lu Tingyan said, "Figure it out yourself."
He couldn’t hold back any longer. He leaned down, stripped his little rabbit bare, and pulled her beneath him, covering her eyes with his hand.
"Susu, for once, pull your attention back and just feel my presence."
With her eyes covered, Bai Su was plunged into darkness, her other senses becoming exceptionally keen.
She could even clearly sense the aura of a spurned husband radiating from Lu Tingyan.
A moist sound reached her ears.
A Drooping Ear Rabbit’s ears were exceptionally sensitive.
"Are you... unhappy because I’ve been neglecting you these past few days?" she asked tentatively, struggling to concentrate.
’Lu Tingyan’s aura feels dangerous. If I don’t placate him, I’m afraid I won’t get any peace tonight.’
"So you do know you’ve been neglecting me."
Lu Tingyan’s voice was terribly hoarse, laced with a hint of grievance.
He deliberately pressed his weight down on her, squeezing what little air was left in her lungs.
Bai Su let out a whimper. "You’re so heavy..."
She instinctively tilted her head back, trying to push him off. "Get off me, this is awful."
Lu Tingyan’s lips curled, his mischievous eyes alight with malicious glee. "I won’t."
The small, soft body in his arms was like a natural lure; he could never hold her enough.
Lu Tingyan breathed in her unique scent, utterly captivated.
The pressure squeezed tears from her eyes. "Lu Tingyan..."
Her strained, fragile voice, like the cry of a struggling cub, titillated Lu Tingyan’s already overexcited nerves.
He took a deep breath, fighting to calm himself.
Lu Tingyan gave her a light nip, his hot breath ghosting over her skin. "Susu, don’t seduce me."
Her eyes shot open in the darkness. ’I could just kick him in the face!’
’How could someone twist the truth so shamelessly?’
She resisted angrily, tilting her head back and biting down hard on his finger.
As he stared in astonishment, she moved her lips, teasing his fingertip in the ways the other men had taught her.
The frenzy and heat he had just suppressed surged back with a vengeance. His voice was impossibly raspy. "Do you have any idea what you’re doing?"
Bai Su snorted, glaring at him defiantly. "Now *this* is seduction!"
Lu Tingyan suddenly broke into laughter. "Susu, you are going to regret that. I guarantee it."
Meeting his gaze, Bai Su felt a belated surge of fear.
It was a primal instinct.
The instinctual wariness and fear of a small, weak female rabbit facing a massive, ferocious White Wolf.
Before Lu Tingyan could pounce, Bai Su kicked her legs back, squirmed out of his embrace, and turned to crawl away.
Lu Tingyan let out a cruel chuckle, his hand clamping around her slender ankle before yanking her back down.
The momentum slammed her back against him.
Bai Su’s face went white with pain. Her head fell into the crook of his neck, and she shuddered, taking small, gasping breaths as if desperately trying to stay alive.
He kissed her ear with tender pity. "Susu, never ignore me for another male again. Otherwise, I’ll go insane."
Bai Su whimpered, "Ngh..."
