Five Years of Marriage to Mr. Bradford (by Koi Fish) novel Chapter 736

Chapter 736

Rebecca chose her words carefully. “He… is someone you can be friends with for life.”

Vance had always been loyal and righteous toward his friends.

“Oh?” Darren looked surprised. “You see him that way? Is he that good?”

“Yes.” She nodded. “He’s good to his friends, his family, the staff at his restaurants, and even…

She almost mentioned her grandmother, but that hadn’t happened in this world.

She caught herself and rephrased it. “Even to strangers, like elderly people.”

Darren’s expression shifted a little. His eyes seemed to be glittering with amusement, but it was gone when she tried to get a better look.

“I had no idea he was that good. He always seems so cold.”

“Maybe you have to get close to see it.”

Once, she had been so close to Vance, sharing a bed every night. Yet they were also so far apart. Even though they were only an arm’s length away, it felt like they were separated by the ends of the earth.

She dodged the question, unsure how to answer it. There was one thing she was certain of. She would not choose Vance again.

Someone had posted a rebuttal exposing the truth behind the accusations that Rebecca had bullied Beatrice. The post had gone up that morning, exactly when Rebecca was in the principal’s office.

The poster was anonymous, but they laid out the full sequence of events clearly, from the bulletin board/incide to the bathroom assault. It also included chat records between Catherine and Beatrice, mentioning Fabio multipl times.

It didn’t include the video of Rebecca being filmed in the bathroom, but another video did appear the deleted segment of school surveillance footage. It clearly showed who had posted the rumors on the bulletin board.

Rebecca wondered who the poster was.
