Cassian followed her gaze, an idea forming. He led her over to the display. “Do you like it?”
Seraphina paused, as if she had caught a familiar scent again.
Before she could answer, Cassian spoke coolly. “Warren, pack everything here. Send it to Seraphina’s place.”
“…Yes,” Warren replied, though disbelief was written all over his face.
Had he misheard?
These were Josh’s favorite antiques. Because the family disapproved of his collecting and stone gambling. he had secretly stored his prized pieces here.
This is… this is his whole collection. And now it’s just being given away? Even if it’s a gift, shouldn’t Josh be the one giving it to hisownfuture wife? Taking someone else’s collection and handing it to your own fiancée… seriously, how does that even make sense?
As the head of Stratmoor Group, didn’t Cassian feel even a twinge of guilt?
Seeing that Cassian wasn’t joking, Warren silently mourned Josh for a full minute before ordering people to start packing.
Seraphina had caught every shift of emotion on his face. She stepped in to defuse the situation. “These don’t really interest me. They’d be wasted on me.”
Her gaze shifted. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed something. She walked over, crouched down. and took a small item from the very bottom shelf.
“This one’s interesting.”
Everyone turned to look. It was a small milky-white dog pendant.
Seraphina’s eyes flickered. Her fingers brushed the surface, dry to the touch. Her expression turned
serious.
Why is this here?
This was old material, high-grade, from an early period.
The others looked confused, unable to understand why she was staring at a dog pendant. Cassian had Josh’s collection manager summoned to explain it to the curious guest.
Five minutes later, Isaac came jogging in, slightly out of breath as he introduced himself.
The moment his eyes landed on the pendant, tension flashed across his face. When he looked at Seraphina again, guilt crept into his expression.
Who is she?

Chapter 50 Claim
That pendant had been here for years. No one had ever shown interest in it.
Why her? Did she recognize it?Impossible. Absolutely impossible. She is far too young.
At first, Seraphina had only been suspicious. After seeing his reaction, she was certain.
“You know each other?” Cassian äsked, narrowing his eyes. “Or is there something special about this piece?”
He took the pendant from her hand and examined it closely.
Isaac’s face went pale.
Seraphina reacted instantly. She snatched it back, her tone playful but firm. “You said it was a gift. No taking it back.”
Isaac felt his heart sink. He didn’t dare show it, only watched helplessly as it was taken away.
Cassian led Seraphina around for a bit longer before they finally went to eat. The dishes were already laid out, filling the table. Staff stood by to serve.
One man, oblivious, moved to pour soup for Seraphina.
In an instant, the temperature in the room dropped. He looked up, startled, and met a pair of dark eyes. “Everyone out.”
The voice cut like icy wind. The staff scattered in a panic, as if narrowly escaping disaster.
He set the plate in front of her, pulled on gloves, and started shelling the shrimp one by one. “You hate doing this, right? I’ll handle it.”
A server happened to walk in with a dish and nearly dropped it.
Did she hear that right?
Everyone knew the rules with Cassian Drayven-head of Stratmoor, zero interest in women, and a reputation colder than steel. No one dared lay a hand on him. Not unless they didn’t mind losing it.
