"When did you get back? Where are your folks?" Sicong asked curiously.

He knew that Su Chen had spent the past few days taking his parents all over Hainan. Every time he’d asked what Su Chen was doing, he was either visiting a tourist attraction or browsing a souvenir shop.

Su Chen didn’t answer immediately. He walked over to the mini-fridge, grabbed a drink, flopped onto the sofa, and chugged half of it before speaking. "They’ve all gone back to Wudu. I just saw them off at the airport."

Sicong and Qin Fen were actually pretty impressed with Su Chen. At least, neither of them had ever gone on a trip with their parents like that—though, to be fair, their parents were always busy.
