Greymoor Academy: I Accidentally Bonded With Four Lycan Royals! novel Chapter 229

Chapter 229: 229. Non-compliance

Maisie

Mercer flicked his thumb over my clit in the same second he pushed in. I sank my teeth into his palm to keep my cry hidden as I came hard enough that my whole body seized. I quivered around him in pulsing waves, sobbing softly as tears rolled down my temple.

He didn’t ease up. His eyes bore holes into mine, giving me no chance of an escape as he watched me while he worked me through the spasms, forcing the orgasms to drag out until my legs gave out completely and the only thing holding me up was Soren’s arm around my waist.

Only when the last tremor left me did Mercer pull his fingers free, and he stormed out of the room without looking back, nearly taking the door off its hinges when he slammed it shut.

Jericho followed, leaving Soren and I alone.

Soren dropped me and I fell back against the cold tiles, cold and exhausted and hurt.

I rubbed the tears off my face and angrily and swallowed my rising sobs as Soren returned to his seat, pulling the gloves off his hands and straightening his cuffs like the last few minutes hadn’t even happened.

I rose on shaky legs and sank back into my seat.

"Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, we can proceed with the ground rules for the duration of your trial."

"M-my trial?" I asked, voice drained.

Soren nodded. "Your crimes aren’t just against the Lycan Court, but also against the Wolves and the humans who died that night. Under normal circumstances, this would call for immediate execution. However, you are still a royal. It took considerable effort to invoke the law that entitles you to a formal trial period before any final verdict, but some strings were pulled, and you were bought some time."

I didn’t ask who pulled the strings. I knew it had to be him. And I wasn’t sure I wanted to know what he traded to pull strings like that. No one was above the law.

"On that note," he continued, eyes on the tablet, "you will remain in our custody until the Council reaches its decision. There will be no more running. The tracker in your neck ensures that. The initial recommendation was a correctional facility. That has since been overridden and a more neutral location was chosen."

I let out a raw, humorless breath. "Let me guess. The Council’s dungeons?"

"The Academy grounds."

I stared at him. "You’re not worried I’ll snap and start murdering students?"

Soren tilted his head. "Things have changed since you left. There have been disappearances since the night of Samhain all over Ashbourne. Students to be precise. This called for more protection on the Academy’s grounds. Greymoor is now one of the most heavily guarded and secured locations in Ashbourne, second only to the castle itself–"

"Disappearances?" I echoed.

"That is classified information. Nothing a criminal should worry about," he answered, and I tried not to flinch.

He continued, "You will be monitored at all hours. Every place you go, every person you speak to, every interaction you have. There will be no unsupervised movement. You will attend all scheduled classes and maintain full academic participation.
