Stella never expected to run into Lucca Sterling here.

He was sitting at a square table with two young trust-fund types. The men were laughing and talking to him, but Lucca's expression was sluggish and bored, completely disinterested in whatever they were saying.

Why would Lucca be at a place like this?

The other two guys were clearly dressed in high-end designer brands. They hardly looked like the type to grab a cheap meal at a street stall.

"Aria, get over here!" one of the rich guys suddenly called out, waving at a girl nearby.

The girl named Aria had a delicate, innocent look. She was wearing a promotional uniform for a liquor brand. Even though it was autumn, her outfit was skimpy, leaving most of her legs exposed.

At the summons, she hurried over, her thin face carrying a mix of timidity and tension. "How can I help you?"

"Pour a drink for our boy Lucca and toast him. Do that, and we'll buy your entire inventory for the night!" the guy laughed.

Aria glanced at the lounging Lucca, then quickly lowered her head. "I'm sorry, Mr. Sterling. I'm not in a position to drink," she said softly.

Lucca curled his lips into a smirk, eyeing her lazily. "Not in a position, again?"

"Sounds like an excuse! Lucca's in a generous mood tonight, ready to play sugar daddy. You'd better seize the opportunity!" the friend egged on with a suggestive tone.

Aria's cheeks flushed crimson. She nervously gripped the hem of her skirt, looking entirely overwhelmed.

Watching the scene unfold, Stella felt a vague sense of familiarity.

She was sure she had seen this girl somewhere before.

Stella hadn't crossed paths with Lucca very often. Searching her memory, it finally clicked.

It was that time at the hotel when she went to retrieve her lost earring from Professor Julian Thorne. In the adjacent banquet hall, she had seen this exact girl in a hotel uniform apologizing to Lucca.

Since Lucca hadn't engaged with the girl and Summer had shown up right after, Stella had simply forgotten about the minor incident.
