Hearing her friend's words, Stella let out a bitter smile. "Summer, don't tease me about this. It's been three years. I've already accepted reality."

"He really looks like him! I even took a picture. I'm sending it to you right now!"

Seconds later, Summer Rhodes sent the photo over.

Stella tapped it open—the man was wearing a loose, casual hoodie. His frame was tall and lean, his handsome face carrying a slight pallor as if he were recovering from a long illness, and he radiated an innate, untamed arrogance.

That familiar face made Stella's breath hitch, and her fingers began to tremble uncontrollably.

She zoomed in quickly. Right at the outer corner of his left eye, there was a faint brown beauty mark—

It was Logan. It was him!

Sparks practically exploded in Stella's mind.

Her heart pounded wildly against her ribs, and her entire body began to shake with involuntary tremors.

Logan was awake!!!

But this was way too sudden!

Was she just asleep, trapped in a dream?

Stella quickly pinched the back of her hand as hard as she could. Unable to tell if it hurt or not, she panicked and slapped herself hard across the face!

The sharp smack startled the driver, who turned around in alarm. "Miss, are you alright?"

"I'm fine, I just..."

The burning sting on her cheek choked the words right out of Stella's throat, and her tears finally spilled over, falling relentlessly.

This wasn't a dream.

Logan was really awake!

"Stella, is it him?" Summer was still waiting for an answer.

"Yes..." Stella said, laughing and crying at the same time. "It's him... Summer, where is he? Send me the address..."

"He left in a car a while ago."

Summer sounded hesitant. "Stella, are you absolutely sure? If he's awake, why didn't he tell you? And—"

"Summer, I can't talk right now. I'm heading to the hospital!"

Caught in a whirlwind of absolute shock, ecstasy, and the terrifying fear that this was all just a hallucination, Stella's brain simply couldn't process anything else. She didn't even notice the uneasy edge to Summer's voice.

She just needed to see Logan with her own eyes as quickly as possible!

Rushing to the hospital at top speed, Stella didn't even bother waiting for the elevator, taking the stairs two or three at a time.

She sprinted down the hall, charging straight into Logan's room!

The door was ajar, but the hospital bed was empty, and the room had been entirely cleared out.
