I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 333

Silas figured that if he remembered that period, at the very least, their past love wasn't fake, and the hostility between them should subside a bit.

Maybe they would even get back together because of it.

Silas stared straight at his friend, only to see him pause his movements, stay silent for a few seconds, and then start swiping the screen again.

Silas was stunned.

"What does that mean? You're like this and you still can't remember?"

"Do you remember the past few days? Or did you forget everything?"

Faced with his persistent questions, Jorrod let out a faint sigh and said flatly, "I remember."

Silas breathed a sigh of relief.

Then.

"The past few days."

"..."

After all that, those past memories really had become an unrecoverable limited edition.

Silas didn't know how to comfort his friend. He vaguely remembered that the guy had a phone filled with all their online conversations from when they were dating.

He could clearly feel that Sienna still had some feelings for Jorrod.

No matter how shallow those feelings were, they were there.

He really didn't want to see Jorrod revert to his previous manic state of trying to find his memories. After thinking for a long time, he spoke up.

"When are you going back?"

Jorrod kept his eyes on the screen. "Soon."

"What I mean is," Silas paused to think. "Even though you really can't remember, you aren't completely in the dark about what happened."

"Why don't you just let nature take its course and spend some more time with Sienna?"

Silas put it delicately, but Jorrod understood.

He wanted him to use the chat logs on his phone to pretend he remembered everything and openly get back together with Sienna.

Jorrod had never considered this idea.

And even now that someone brought it up, he only turned it over in his mind once before giving Silas an incredibly soft scoff in response.

The affection gained by using someone else's identity—was it for that person, or for him?

He disdained such behavior.

"I could never be someone's substitute."

After dealing with all the online public opinion surrounding himself, Jorrod drove to Sienna's place that very night, chasing after his worldly desires.

Sienna wasn't surprised when she opened the door.

The hallway window was open, and the dry, biting cold air rushed in through the open door. She was only wearing pajamas, and the wind blew down her collar, making her instinctively pull it tighter.

Looking up, the man at the door wore a dark coat, bringing the night's chill with him. Behind his metal-rimmed glasses, his dark eyes looked down at her. The profound depths of his gaze held much stronger emotions than they had during the days he was being cared for.

She didn't know if Jorrod still remembered what happened over the past few days, but his body was covered in marks she had left. Any fool would know what they had done.

Sienna didn't know how to face him either.

She stayed silent, waiting for him to speak first.

Jorrod's first sentence was, "Let me in, or put on a coat."

Sienna glanced inside the house.

After two seconds of silence, she took a half-step back.

Jorrod took the hint and stepped forward, casually closing the door behind him, instantly shutting out the freezing air.

"When I was sick, you said we were together..."

Hearing this, Sienna pretty much understood.
