I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 335

Sienna raised an eyebrow.

Watching the man bear the humiliation with a heavy burden, she suddenly remembered the arrogant look he had when they first met, the guy who couldn't even be bothered to lift his eyelids.

The same face from her memory and her vision overlapped incongruously.

Inexplicably, she wanted to speak.

Sienna let out an "oh" and said, "Forget it, I changed my mind. I feel like it's too unfair to you."

Jorrod never thought in his life that he would do something so morally bankrupt, bottomless, and despised by others, let alone fight for the chance to do it.

He had just made up his mind to be her clandestine lover, but in the blink of an eye, she changed her mind just like that.

He almost laughed out of anger, staring intently at her. "Who told you I felt it was unfair?"

"Isn't it?"

"I'm... extremely happy."

The words were practically squeezed through his back teeth.

Sienna still shook her head. "It's also really unfair to him. Forget it."

Jorrod took a deep breath and leaned in closer, his figure and breath descending upon her. Sienna instinctively leaned back, only to be supported by his arm around her waist.

"I'm the one intruding, I'm the one wronging him. These are all things I should be considering."

His voice was low and husky, the words rolling slowly from his throat. They were so close that Sienna could even feel the slight vibration against her chest with every word he spoke.

"You can't take back what you've already said."

Sienna looked up. His chest heaved in front of her, and his dark pupils reflected her face.

His tone brooked no refusal and seemed incredibly dominant, but a subtle tension still leaked out through his breathing.

Sienna raised her right hand and touched the man's face.

Jorrod froze slightly.

Then, she suddenly stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.

The brows that had been knitted tightly together instantly relaxed.

The woman retreated as soon as she kissed him, leaving only a warm, soft sensation on his cheek. Jorrod stared at her for two seconds. In her watery, rippling eyes that met his gaze, he saw his own face.

In that face, there was no longer a loss of control or suppression, but a very real sense of possession in the present moment.

His Adam's apple bobbed, his eyes darkened abruptly, and he cupped her chin, lowering his head.

Sienna shushed him with a finger to her lips.

Jorrod's chest was already tight, and that gesture made him feel utterly suffocated, his temples throbbing.

He truly had become the type of person who couldn't be seen and had to be hidden away.

Being angry was one thing, but he couldn't even show it. He had to obediently play the mute in front of the official boyfriend.

Jorrod just stood there, his tall frame leaning against the edge of the sofa, arms crossed over his chest, his expression far from pleasant. He stared at Sienna's back the whole way as she ran into the kitchen with the phone.

Halfway there, a clear "Julian" drifted into his ears.

He didn't know if she called Liam Carter "Liam" when they were dating.

But he knew very well that between the two of them, Sienna had always just called him "Jorrod, Jorrod."

Sienna even pulled the kitchen door shut, as if guarding against someone.

And he was the only one here.

Now, Jorrod couldn't hear anything at all.

He could only look through the glass on the door and see the woman smiling brightly, leaning casually against the counter, looking down at her toes in an incredibly relaxed and comfortable manner.
