The two little girls standing nearby were thoroughly traumatized, their eyes red and teary, too terrified to utter a single word.
The cameras hadn't caught anything. Finnegan had likely used the service corridors, completely bypassing the security detail and camera blind spots. By the time anyone realized something was horribly wrong, his car was already miles away.
Xander had hired several top-tier security firms for the wedding, yet they had somehow let a man waltz in and kidnap his bride. His face was a mask of dark, murderous fury.
He already knew exactly who had taken her. His eyes were devoid of any human warmth.
His assistant rushed in. "Mr. Harrison, we checked the feeds. There are no signs of the target vehicle. He must have veered onto a side street halfway through. Whoever is driving is highly skilled at dodging surveillance."
Xander didn't look up. His eyes remained locked on the tablet screen in front of him as he mentally mapped out the surrounding terrain.
He tapped a specific spot on the map. "Here. Investigate this route. I want all the traffic footage. Also, pull every piece of security tape from this area and expand the search radius to thirty miles. Get a car ready. We leave in five minutes."
As he turned to leave, he shot a chilling warning over his shoulder. "Remember, not a single word about what happened today leaves this property. If I hear even a whisper of this in the press, I'll have your head."
The assistant nodded frantically. "Understood, Mr. Harrison!"
Striding out of the building, Xander dialed a number. "Mr. Adler, it's Xander. I recall you mentioning your security firm has access to a top-tier private tracking network. You told me it could be deployed under any circumstances. Well, this is an emergency. I don't care who you have to cross or what the fallout is. Find my wife immediately. I'll pay triple your usual rate."
The man on the other end paused briefly before springing into action. "Done. I'm on it. Give me ten minutes."
