My Child and I Married a Billionaire novel Chapter 347

Chapter 347: Chapter 347: Couple Vibe

As she finished speaking, Cecelia Archer glanced at Damien Vaughn.

She saw him about to cut the watermelon without even washing the rind and stopped him.

"Let me do it. You’re not feeling well, so you should avoid getting your hands wet. Go sit outside and wait. No one will think you’re being rude."

Damien Vaughn didn’t argue. He naturally let her take the knife and watched from the side.

Cecelia rinsed the watermelon, deftly sliced it into several wedges, and placed them on a plate. The splashing water wet her clothes.

"Your shirt is wet. There’s an apron here, want to put it on?"

Cecelia was wearing a white top today, and it became quite noticeable after getting wet, clinging to her body.

’With the cameras rolling, it wouldn’t be good if netizens took a screenshot.’

"There’s an apron? Then I’d better put it on."

The production team had prepared three aprons for them. Cecelia’s was pink and hanging on the wall.

Damien Vaughn casually took it down. He reached around Cecelia’s front, hung the apron around her neck, then wrapped the two ties around her waist, loosely tying them at the small of her back.

"I’ll go wait outside then."

He carried the watermelon out first.

The bullet comments exploded.

"Those two are DEFINITELY a thing. Did you see the way President Vaughn tied that apron for her? It was so smooth and seamless!"

"What is going on? What is he even here for today? Don’t tell me he’s here to declare his sovereignty?"

"Since Mr. Sherman and President Vaughn are friends, he must know something about their situation. How can Mr. Sherman still film a show with this woman under these circumstances?"

"Oh come on, if you know, you know. It’s all for the drama. Guaranteed to trend. I bet this is the show’s big highlight today. The three of them are definitely going to be a trending topic."

"OMG, this morning I was just saying the show was getting boring and wasn’t as good as yesterday, and now this afternoon the drama is back! Mr. Sherman really picked the right show to be on, he’s about to blow up!"

Cecelia chatted with Julian Sherman as she washed and cut the rest of the fruit. She brought it out, and the three of them sat together, eating and talking.

"What’s the plan for later?"

Julian Sherman said they were going go-karting. He invited Damien Vaughn to join, and Damien immediately agreed.

"Sure. It’s just been a while, so I’m a little rusty."

"We booked it for 3:00, and it’s already 2:30. If we’re going, we need to leave now. Do you want to go get ready or change your clothes?"

Julian Sherman reminded Damien Vaughn.

Damien Vaughn’s top was too loose. Plus, it was a hoodie, which would be uncomfortable under the professional racing suit. He planned to put on a T-shirt underneath.

"I’m going to go put on another layer. Wait one minute for me."

As he said this, he stood up to leave, but Cecelia Archer called out to him.

"Wait. It’s cold and windy outside today. Your cold isn’t better yet, you shouldn’t go."

Damien Vaughn: "...I’m not that delicate. I’ve already taken my medicine."

"But you just took it. If you go out into the wind right after taking medicine, it’ll get worse tonight. You’re not a child anymore, do you have to go play right now? You can always go another day."

But Damien Vaughn just wanted to go today.

’Does Cecelia really not understand what he’s thinking?’

Seeing her paired up with someone else made him uncomfortable. He just wanted to be with her.

"But I already agreed with Julian."

Cecelia turned her head to look at Julian Sherman. "Isn’t it enough to have me go with you? Do you have to drag a sick person along?"

Julian Sherman held up his hands in surrender.

"I was just making a casual offer. It’s your decision whether you go or not. Just don’t blame me if you have a fever tonight. I can’t take that responsibility."

Damien Vaughn’s brow furrowed.

"You’re right, I’m not a child anymore. Why would I be so delicate? Wait one minute for me."

As he spoke, he started to leave again, and Cecelia stood up.
