For a moment, the room was silent.
Finally, Chloe Reed silently took the towel and wiped his wound dry. Once she was certain no moisture remained, she applied a waterproof bandage to protect it.
Next, she led him to stand beside the shower, readjusted the water temperature, and detached the shower head to begin rinsing his body.
The water was warm, and her soft hands roamed over his body.
Walker Grant’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and the veins at his temples throbbed faintly.
’Who could possibly stand this?’
Chloe Reed tried her best to ignore certain things, but an uncontrollable heat flushed her cheeks.
Once he was thoroughly drenched, she turned to grab the body wash.
But just as she did, Walker Grant suddenly stepped forward, grabbing her by the shoulders and pinning her against the wall.
CLATTER!
The shower head in Chloe Reed’s hand fell to the floor, making a sharp noise.
Her eyes widened in shock before her brow furrowed in anger, and she started to struggle.
’Has he lost his mind?!’
’What about his shower?’
’Is he doing whatever he wants just because I can’t yell at him right now?’
’This is too much!’
’This is way too much!’
"Don’t move."
Walker Grant’s body pressed flush against hers. He dipped his head, his hot breath ghosting over her ear.
Unable to hold back, he began to kiss and lick it.
Chloe Reed instantly felt a jolt of electricity surge through her, sending a faint tremor through her body.
"Ngh..."
Walker Grant seemed to take this as encouragement, and his muscles hardened.
...
When they emerged, both of them were clean. Even with his eyes bandaged, it was clear that Walker Grant was thoroughly refreshed.
Chloe Reed called for a nurse to check Walker Grant’s wound. She only breathed a sigh of relief after the nurse confirmed everything was fine.
’She had been afraid his wound would reopen.’
’He had promised to be gentle, but he’d lost control completely.’
He’d called out her name over and over, his arms holding her so tightly it was as if he never wanted to let go, as if he wanted them to be entangled forever.
As the nurse left, she said, "His wound hasn’t fully healed yet. He still needs to rest."
With that, the blushing nurse scurried away.
She had come by earlier, worried that Chloe Reed might have gotten water on the wound while bathing him. But who could have predicted she’d end up hearing... what she wasn’t supposed to hear.
