Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 452

“Got it. Thanks for your hard work, Celine.”

Celine smiled warmly. “It’s no trouble at all. Just take good care of Tiger, and your best days are yet to come.”

She used to be Tiger’s housekeeper before Doris snatched the job away. She hadn't expected to be reinstated so soon, not even a year later.

Doris must be absolutely furious!

She guessed Doris had been kicked out for running her mouth at this beautiful young woman.

She made a mental note to treat this girl with the utmost respect. She had never seen Tiger bring a woman back to the villa before.

It wasn't that he lacked women—quite the opposite—but this stunning girl was the only one who had ever earned the right to step foot inside this house.

Clearly, she was very special to him.

“Celine, did Tiger mention if he's coming back for dinner tonight?”

Celine’s eyes crinkled with a smile. “He is. He explicitly said he’s coming home to have dinner with you tonight.”

“Okay, understood. Celine, once you’re done putting away the groceries and tidying up the villa, you can head out. I’ll handle the cooking myself.”

She didn't want anyone else preparing what went into his mouth.

She was going to cook for him personally, making him unwittingly grow more obsessed, more trusting, and more... delusional!

But this had to be done slowly. She couldn't rush it.

Starting with Tiger was the best strategy. She had zero interest in stun guns, belts, cages, or water cells.

And she wasn't about to let him squeeze a single dime out of her, nor would she ever let him actually take advantage of her.

The most crucial thing was getting revenge for her grandfather!

But that would take time. She might not even make it back for the holidays.

She unboxed everything. They were all high-end designer brands, a massive upgrade from yesterday’s street-vendor trash.

The delivery included everything from underwear to outerwear, and there was twice as much as before.

Her innocent act the night before really had worked wonders.

She washed and dried all the new clothes, then shoved every single item that the other woman had bought into a massive black garbage bag and tossed it into the storage room.

At six o'clock that evening, Tiger returned.

He had purposefully come home early today just to have dinner with his little woman.

He had been thinking about her all day, mostly reminiscing about the mind-blowing pleasure from the night before.

Stella had prepared a meal with three dishes and a soup, waiting for him.

“You’re home. Go wash your hands, dinner is ready.”
