Chapter 112 A Hidden Genius in the B–Rank Class
Steven walked at the front and led his group away like a king returning from battle.
Not a single person dared to stop them.
The A–rank Awakened from Class 9 all wore grim expressions,

Their classmates had just been completely crushed by a B–rank, and they had not even managed to fight back once.
It was humiliating.
Wendy smirked faintly and shot Ivor a glance.
“Mr. Fox, you’d better warn your students to stay away from mine. Once these kids really lose their temper, things can get out of hand fast.”
Ivor gave a cold snort. He quickly ordered the students to carry Oscar and the others to the infirmary.
As Steven and the others walked back, cheers suddenly broke out around them.
“Steven, that was insane! So you were secretly a monster this whole time!” Seamus shouted excitedly.
Luke and Chad were grinning from ear to ear.
“Man, that felt amazing,” Luke said with a laugh. “Watching you smack those guys around was seriously satisfying.”
Chad laughed so hard he nearly bent over.
Steven only smiled.
“We’re friends,” he said calmly. “Nobody gets to bully my friends.”
The three of them suddenly felt a warmth in their chests. That was what real friendship was supposed to feel like.
At this moment, the four of them felt even closer than before.
Some of the other students also crowded around them.
“Steven, how are you this strong?”
Steven shrugged casually. “Maybe I was just born stronger than normal.”
Wendy walked over.
“Remember this,” Wendy said loudly. “If your classmates get bullied, fight back. I don’t care if the other
side is S–rank.
“You can’t just stand there and watch your people get pushed around. Even if you lose, there’s nothing

shameful about it.”
“We got it!”
Everyone burst into laughter.

Wendy was beautiful already, but her straightforward personality made people admire her even more.
Steven glanced at her and smiled faintly.
That was precisely who Wendy was. Just like her fighting style–aggressive, fierce, and unstoppable.
Soon, everyone returned to the virtual combat chamber.
The evaluations resumed not long after.
Students stepped forward one after another to take the combat power test.
Still, compared to the S–Class students, the B–rank Awakened were obviously weaker overall.
Most people only reached level 1.
A smaller number managed to hit level 2.
As for level 3, nobody reached that level yet.
After all, combat power ratings did not measure physical strength alone. The system judged overall combat ability.
While waiting quietly off to the side, Steven continued absorbing divine crystals and training. To him, it honestly did not matter whether he tested now or later.
Seamus returned looking utterly defeated after completing his test.
“Seriously? Level I? I didn’t even make it to Level 2.”
Chad laughed and slapped him on the shoulder. “Why are you so upset? Most people are only Level 1. Don’t overthink it. Our combat talent is only average.”
Seamus glanced at Steven, who was still sitting there with his eyes closed.
Steven thought quietly for a second before standing up. The S–Class students were probably too embarrassed to acknowledge his Level 5 results. After all, not a single one of them had reached Level 5.
The virtual combat chamber used the exact same standards for every class. The difficulty was never lowered just because someone belonged to B–rank.
Everything was balanced fairly.
In other words, the S–Class chamber and the B–rank chamber were almost identical. Only a few visual details were different, and those had nothing to do with combat strength.
The moment Steven entered, a virtual screen appeared in front of him.
He selected the spear again.
The weapon formed beside him instantly.
Then he pressed Start.
A few seconds later, a virtual beast appeared in front of him.
Bloodfang Rat. An old familiar enemy.
Outside the chamber, Wendy raised an eyebrow in surprise. Steven used a spear too?

Now she really wanted to see what he could do.
The Bloodfang Rat finished loading and lunged at Steven the very next second.
Everyone thought a fierce fight was about to begin.
But Steven did not move. Not even a little.
“What’s going on? Why is he just standing there?”
The students were stunned.
Steven slowly closed his eyes. One hand rested loosely on the spear as if he were quietly feeling the flow of the wind around him.
His mind became perfectly calm.
Outside the chamber, some of the girls had already started screaming excitedly.
