Chapter 284 Longing
So I’d like everyone to decide together whether Captain Greenwood should receive the largest share of the 100 million divine crystals, and if so, how much.”
Everyone nodded in agreement.
The 200,000 beast crystals Alan had received earlier were only equal to about two million divine crystals.
That sounded like a lot, but it really wasn’t enough to support him for very long.
For Three–Sigil Divine Adepts like them, two million divine crystals were a huge amount.
For Alan, it wasn’t.
After thinking for a moment, Alan shook his head. “Forget it.”
Olivia immediately refused, “No. Don’t think I haven’t noticed. You’re almost out of divine crystals already. You evolved in the middle of battle. Those hundred–plus high–level divine crystals were probably all you had left. You couldn’t have saved much after that.”
Only then did everyone realize how difficult Alan’s situation actually was.
But it made sense. The stronger he was, the greater his expenses.
Peter spoke up. “Let’s give Captain Greenwood 80 percent. Dividing the remaining 20 million among us would still be a lot.”
Alan frowned, “That’s too much.”
But Steven shook his head. “That’s too little. 90 percent.”
Everyone stared at him in shock.
Steven calmly explained, “Olivia, under normal circumstances, an S–rank Divine General needs at least several million divine crystals to advance a level, right?”
Olivia nodded. “Even the weakest Divine Generals need around five million.”
Steven nodded. “Exactly. If even the weakest Divine General needs five million, then Captain Greenwood probably needs at least ten million.
“And that’s just for advancing. After a major battle, refilling all the power he burns through isn’t easy either. Everyone understands that.
“So even 100 million divine crystals aren’t actually that much for him. It might not even be enough for a single year.
“Captain Greenwood is the person who needs to grow stronger the most right now. We still have revenge to take. He has to become stronger first. If we’re short on divine crystals later, we can earn more. But Captain Greenwood’s needs come first.”
Everyone nodded after hearing that. If they still insisted on splitting everything equally, it would feel selfish.

So Captain Greenwood gets 90 percent. The remaining 11.55 million divine crystals will be divided among the 11 of us. That still gives everyone over one million divine crystals. That’s already more than we’ve ever received before. Are we really going to complain about that?”
Steven looked around at the group.
Peter immediately raised his hand. “No objections. We only earned this much because of Captain Greenwood anyway.”
“No problem!”
“I agree!”
“Let’s do it!”
Alan looked at everyone and finally stopped arguing.
Then he turned toward Steven.
“Don’t your own abilities consume a lot of resources too?”
The others looked at Steven as well.
Steven grinned. “It’s fine. We can talk about that after my level catches up.”
The group laughed. Everyone was in high spirits.
After the meeting, everyone went their separate ways and left Military Command.
Only then did Operation Moonfall truly come to an end.
Military Command had no intention of publicly celebrating the mission.
Too many people had died. There was nothing glorious about it.
They also asked all survivors to avoid discussing the operation publicly so the situation wouldn’t grow into a larger scandal.
Steven returned to the academy carrying more than 150,000 Level 1 beast crystals.
That naturally made her worried.
She was a little anxious.
Unable to calm herself, she threw all of those emotions into combat. She fought even harder, desperately trying to raise her level.
Recently, Bianca had become quite famous throughout the academy.
Even after reaching SSS–rank, she continued pushing herself through nonstop evolution and combat training.
Many students felt ashamed when they saw her work ethic. She had even inspired a wave of intense training across the academy.
But Bianca paid no attention to any of it.
After finishing today’s battles, she finally walked out of the Intermediate Hunting Ground.
The Intermediate Hunting Ground was far more dangerous than the Beginner Hunting Ground.
She was exhausted. Yet the killing intent around her was still intimidating.
The moment she stepped outside, Serena hurried over.
“Bianca, are you okay? I saw you get hurt!”
Bianca shook her head. “I’m fine. Just some minor cuts. Come on. Let’s head back to the dorm.” Around them, many students who had been watching didn’t dare approach. The pressure Bianca gave off
