Chapter 319 A Tragic End
Connor’s face was incredibly grim. He was furious now.
But it seemed the Reads had started this whole thing.
Connor said coldly, “Those pathetic wretches! Why didn’t you call for backup?”
Finished
Silas cried out miserably, “I did! I kept sending messages until I was practically spamming them, but nobody responded!”
Connor’s expression turned even uglier. Their communications had been blocked! Could the military have. been helping them behind the scenes?
“Dad! They all have to die! I’m going to kill every last one of them! I’ll make them pay!” Silas roared.
Connor nodded. “Our family has ruled Rowenville for decades. Are we really going to let the Awakened Squad walk all over us?
“You guys, come with me! We’re taking them out!”
“Yes!”
“Understood!”
The Reads’s Divine Generals were burning with rage..
Just then, the Divine King, Eric Read, appeared.
“Dad!”
“Grandpa!”
Silas and Connor called out at the same time.
Eric glanced at Abigail, who was receiving treatment, and Spencer’s lifeless body.
“Grandpa!” Silas shouted. “I want them dead! I want to kill them right now!”
Eric frowned. The dark look in his eyes was like a savage wolf ready to devour someone whole.
There was no questioning how important an SS–rank talent was to a family.
‘The Reads had cherished those two siblings dearly. No one had imagined that such a disaster would happen
in Rowenville.
The anger inside Eric was rising bit by bit.
“That useless fool only knows how to make trouble! We warned him to keep his head down during this period!”
When a Divine King unleashed his wrath, bloodshed would surely follow!

Connor said, “Dad, this grudge must be avenged! Otherwise, how can we continue to stand tall?”
Eric looked at Silas. “You said you called for backup?”
Silás replied, “Grandpa, I really did send a signal to the family, but nobody responded!”
Eric frowned.
“When you were there, did you run into that mysterious expert?
“He wouldn’t be helping those people, would he?”
Silas shook his head repeatedly. “Impossible. If he had made a move, I never would’ve made it back alive.
“It was mainly Team Ashen, and that damn brat!”
Eric nodded, fury blazing deep within his eyes.
“You guys, bring those people back to me! Put the entire city on alert and hunt them down! I’ll handle the military, but move fast! Go now!
“Have the family cooperate with the surveillance investigation. Arrest every single one of them!
“They’ll pay with their lives for my great–grandson’s death!”
Connor nodded. “Understood!”
“Let’s go!”
He waved his hand and prepared to leave with the others.
They all shot outside at once.

Fear gripped Eric. Why has he come again?
Damn it! What exactly is the relationship between this mysterious expert and those people?
Just because we bothered a neighbor? Is that really worth this?
The moment those words left his mouth, Eric and Connor turned deathly pale. Idiot!
Brian remained expressionless and casually lifted a hand.
An invisible force instantly seized Silas and dragged him into the sky.
No one had time to react.
Brian’s expression turned icy. You wanted my grandson to die a tragic end?
Eric hurriedly begged, “Mr. Fisher, please show mercy! He only spoke out of anger!”
Brian’s eyes remained cold and indifferent. “I know very well who tried to kill whom first. And with me, there is no excuse for speaking out of anger. If you dare talk back, you die.”
He said it as casually as if discussing the weather.
With a single thought from Brian–bang!
Silas didn’t even manage a scream before exploding into a cloud of blood that vanished into the sky.
Silence fell over the scene. Just like that, a Five–Sigil Divine General was gone…
Without the slightest commotion.
Eric, a Six–Seal Divine King, didn’t even dare breathe too loudly. That absolute pressure filled him with despair.
Brian looked at Eric.
“Do you have a problem with that?”
Eric shook his head so fast it looked like it might fall off. “No.”
But deep inside, the fury in his heart refused to fade. Someday, he would invite powerful experts from the main family and reclaim the dignity that had been crushed today!
