The Rat King sensed danger instantly.

With a piercing shriek, the remaining three Level 2 Bloodfang Rats lunged at Peter like mad beasts.

Peter threw his head back and roared with laughter.

The voices of his teammates broke down in the earpiece.

Under the blinding collision of lightning and violet light, Peter unleashed the very last of his strength.

“Die!” Peter roared furiously.

The Rat King’s sharp claws shattered apart.

The spear punched straight into its chest.

At that moment, time itself seemed to freeze.

Steven felt his breathing stop.

You idiot… Don’t you know how to run?

Man and beast seemed locked in place.

Savage madness filled the Rat King’s crimson eyes.

It was in extreme agony.

Screech!

It let out another shrill cry.

Blood streamed from Peter’s mouth.

He stared at the struggling Rat King.
