Chapter 67 The Stats Don’t Lie
Late that night, Steven pulled up his attribute panel again.
All four base stats had gone up another point, and there was something new.
“Beast Energy Conversion
“Conversion Progress 36/1,000,000
“Beast Energy Talent: Eye of Insight 1
“Divine Sigil: B–Rank Wind–Fire Divine Sigil, First Seal Lv.1
(Divine Sigil Evolution Progress: 1% )
“Beast–Type Divine Sigil: SSS–Rank Crimson–Eyed Heavenfang Sigil, First Seal Lv.2
(Beast–Type Divine Sigil Evolution Progress: 2.0%)
“Spirit 19+1/100
“Strength 26+1/100
“Agility 19+1/100
“Speed 19+1/100”
“The Beast–Type Divine Sigil is already Level 2?!”
Steven stared at the display in shock.
It finally clicked.
These attribute values were directly tied to the Beast–Type Divine Sigil’s level.
Finished
As long as he kept running Beast Energy Conversion on beast crystals, the absorbed energy would translate into raw stat points, which would in turn push his beast–type Sigil’s evolution progress higher.
At the same time, any stats gained from his regular Wind–Fire Divine Sigil were added on top of that. The +1 increment today had to be the baseline bonus from awakening the Wind–Fire Sigil.
His Wind–Fire Sigil had a ceiling–probably topping out around the Three–Sigil Divine Adept range–so the stats it could contribute were limited.
But his beast–type Sigil? As long as he had enough beast crystals, he could keep climbing indefinitely.
Steven was ecstatic. He was finally starting to understand how his system worked.
His mind was already racing.
He needed divine crystals and beast crystals.

“With my current abilities, even without Sigil power, I can still take down low–level beasts without much trouble.
“I should ask Frank for clearance to use the hunting grounds.”
With that thought settled, Steven finally drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, he dragged Bianca out of the house bright and early.
They headed to the city center, and the moment they crossed into the central district, it felt like they’d stepped into a different world entirely from the outer civilian district.
Towering skyscrapers rose like a forest of glass and steel, neon signs blazed everywhere, and the whole place had a distinctly futuristic feel.
It was Bianca’s first time in the area, and her eyes widened nonstop.
They stood in front of the villa, tucked away in the heart of the city’s most exclusive neighborhood.
Steven whistled. “The academy really went all out. If you converted this place to regular currency, you’re looking at nine figures, easy.”
Bianca gasped. “That much?”
Was the future Ember Eternal always this smooth?
It was over. He was going to be a kept man. And why did that thought make him weirdly excited?
17:53 Thu, Jun 11 MM.
Bianca finally relaxed, her eyes wide with wonder at everything around her.
As they walked deeper into the villa, Echo had already activated the lighting system.

Echo continued her introduction. “This villa is equipped with the latest–generation S–rank offensive and defensive system, capable of withstanding a level 5 beast assault.
“It also features a 5A–grade intelligent medical system with a dedicated treatment room.
“Two A–rank combat vehicles are garaged on the premises for your convenience–both feature real–time connectivity with me to support transportation and combat operations.
“All household matters will be handled by me. You need only call, and I’ll be at your service around the clock.”
Bianca looked overwhelmed. Everything was changing too fast.
Steven explained with a smile. “Living here means everything–laundry, cooking, cleaning, all the little chores–Echo handles it all. Spotless, every time.
“Anything else you can think of, she’ll take care of it. Just say the word.
“She’ll even wipe your-”
Bianca’s face went scarlet. She gave Steven’s chest a light punch.
“Doesn’t that mean living here would turn me into a complete couch potato?”
Steven chuckled. “Bianca, you’re an SSS–rank. From now on, all you need to focus on is getting stronger. Everything else is taken care of.”
Bianca nodded, still looking a bit dazed by it all.
“So, should we head home today and tell Grandpa and Mom, then move in?”
Steven rubbed his chin, his face faintly red.
