Reborns. Apocalypse Ready, War Goddess by My Side
Chapter 76 Holding The Line
He lost all sense of time. The only thing he remembered was the endless fighting.

Driven by instinct alone, he repeatedly raised the spear in his grip and stabbed forward, determined to slaughter every beast in sight.
He needed to defend the stake. He needed to protect the outcome of everyone’s struggle. He could not allow it to be swallowed by that nightmare again.
On a rooftop not far behind him…
Brian remained there silently while observing Steven’s battle.
His expression was deep and unreadable.
Nobody knew how much time had gone by.
Steven only felt his sight grow hazy from blood and the fluids sprayed by the ghost mask spiders.
“Come on!” Steven roared.
Fortunately, no level 2 beasts appeared, otherwise he truly would have fallen there.
Everything changed when Darlene hurried over anxiously.
She looked in complete disbelief at Steven standing before the stake, positioned atop a hill of corpses with his spear pressed against the ground.
He seemed like a warrior crawling out from a river of blood.
He had not retreated even half a step.
He carved his way through the beasts with bloodshed, preventing a single creature from approaching the stake.
In the end, the beast uprising was finally suppressed.
That overwhelming exhaustion crashed into him instantly. He could hardly remain upright any longer. His body slumped as he began to fall.
A graceful silhouette appeared beside Steven.
She caught him, carried him beyond the Divine Barrier’s range, and placed him beside Peter, who was already receiving treatment.
Even in this condition, Steven still refused to release the silver spear.
No one felt more stunned than Olivia.
Because she watched Steven fight from beginning to end.
She simply could not understand it.

How could an eighteen–year–old high school student possess such terrifying determination in battle?
Even after losing consciousness, he still gripped the spear tightly.
To her, unless someone experienced countless life–and–death struggles, it was impossible to possess this level of obsession.
Darlene extended both hands and healed Peter and Steven simultaneously.
Soon afterward, the rest of the teammates arrived.
All of them stared at the mountain of corpses in astonishment.
Compared to the number they killed, it was not especially large.
But Steven was only a high school student who recently Awakened.
They looked at the spear he still held tightly, and everyone became silent.
Alan was also covered in blood. Calmly, he asked, “He kills all of those?”
Olivia nodded. “After he kills the level 2 ghost mask spider, forty–eight level 1 beasts appear afterward. None of them reach the stake.”
The entire team was deeply shaken.
Alan stayed silent briefly before speaking. “He really is qualified to become our teammate.”
Everyone nodded, their eyes carrying respect.
“Clean up the battlefield. Separate all the beast crystals from the ones he kills.”
The team immediately began working.

Steven sent Bianca a message telling her not to worry. Everything was already over.
Darlene said, “In a while, I take you and Peter back first, then I drive both of you home.”
Steven nodded.
Not long later, the remaining teammates returned. The battlefield was already cleaned up.
Twelve people stood there in total.
Alan led them toward Steven.
“Steven, from this moment onward, you are officially a member of Team Ashen!”
“I’m Alan, level 40, Four–Sigil Divine Knight.”
The teammates behind him introduced themselves one after another.
The muscular young man who joked earlier about burning Peter together with a busty woman grinned and said, “I’m Blooddrinker Danny, level 24, Three–Sigil Divine Adept.”
Next came a man in armor carrying a sword on his back, appearing quiet and reserved. “I’m Blooddrinker Edric, level 32, Four–Sigil Divine Knight.”
“I’m Blooddrinker Louie, level 26, Three–Sigil Divine Adept.”
“I’m Blooddrinker Mason, level 28, Three–Sigil Divine Adept.”
Each of the four Blooddrinker members possessed different styles. Louie had short hair resembling steel needles, while Mason had a slimmer frame and fought using a pair of Iron Fists.

A cold and beautiful woman dressed in tight leather attire spoke indifferently, ‘Ranged assassination unit, Nicole, level 25, Three–Sigil Divine Adept.”
Then a man carrying an enormous origin–energy sniper rifle on his back grinned and said, “Ranged assassination unit, Theo, level 28, Three–Sigil Divine Adept.”
