Another night passed peacefully and the next day, it was busy as before. Since she needed to clear the schedule and get the work done in advance, the whole team got busy.
Perhaps, it was because she treated them to an expensive dinner that they were all fired up.
The work that was supposed to be finished in two days was completed quickly in a day and it was very satisfactory.
They finished later than yesterday, and Diamond still treated everyone for dinner, and thanked them for their hard work. As a result, she returned to the hotel almost midnight, which was a first.
However, she was still energetic and didn’t feel like sleeping at all.
After a refreshing bath, she started working. Going through her emails, responding to those that were important and needed responses. She also checked the books and with Andrea on the side, she understood everything perfectly and didn’t need to look like a fool.
She also chatted with Gael, more of like replying to his messages but chatted for a while with Waylon, who was acting spoiled like a new bride.
She had a great time chatting with those two, and in the midst, even sent a message to Russ but with nothing flirty. She simply asked about Gracelynn and Penny. There was no response and she didn’t wait for it.
She didn’t forget her family in the process as well as answering to some of her friends she chatted with the most, including Nolan and Wyatt. She felt much more at ease this night compared to other days. Perhaps, it was because she found someone quite striking and to her liking, thus moving on very swift without any hesitation.
There was no need to mourn anymore. If Wyatt was in love with a girl, she would have some hope for the day he would move on and perhaps look at her, but he was in love with Nolan. That changes everything. Who knows?
By now, what if Wyatt had confessed and they were working things out?
It was easy to bend someone but straightening the person, that was a challenge, and one she wasn’t willing to take. It was better for her to shift her focus on others and move on.
All that took her almost three hours before she finally went to sleep.
Three hours later, she was wide awake and sighed wryly as she looked at the time.
Her biological clock at times really works like magic and at times, doesn’t seem to be online. Since she was awake, she focused on her morning chores, which included, training, singing, checking the farm and the ranch.
Once she was done, she took a bath, wore pretty clothes and this day, since she wasn’t going anywhere that morning, she visited the restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed the buffet plus extra dishes without caring about those people giving her the curious gaze with her volume of food.
