Lucas‘ heart sank.

Lynn is telling Isabelle how good Damian’s body looks… and Isabelle isn’t even bothered by it? Are girls really that open these days when they talk?
Lynn looked at Lucas, her lips pressed tightly together.
Oh no. I’ve really done it now. Lucas must be furious.
She wanted to say that his body was amazing too.
Lucas stood frozen, unsure if he should walk over to her.
Daisy nudged Lynn. “Go on!” she urged.
Lynn felt guilty. She’d said the wrong thing. Seeing Lucas standing there, just watching her, she felt awkward and didn’t know what to do.
“Go… Isabelle whispered, reminding her.
Lynn swallowed hard. stood up, and walked over to him.
“What’s wrong?” Lynn asked, sensing the change in his demeanor. This was how he looked when he was unhappy.
“Are you tired?” Lucas asked.
Lynn shook her head.
He continued. “If you’re tired, you can go upstairs and rest. I probably won’t be done for a while.”
“Okay… Lynn said.
Lucas glanced at Daisy and Isabelle behind her, who were watching them intently. The words he wanted to say got stuck in his throat.
“It was just girl talk. You believe me, right?” Lynn explained.
Lucas paused. “I respect you.” he said.
Lynn let out a silent sigh. Respect, my foot! Couldn’t you at least get a little jealous? Why do you have to be such a gentleman about it?!
Annoyed, she frowned at him. “I’m a sucker for a man in a dress shirt,” she blurted out.
Lucas didn’t understand why she’d suddenly said that. The topic had shifted so quickly.
Seeing Lucas show no reaction, Lynn felt like ripping his brain open to see what was really going on inside.

“Go drink,” Lynn said, dismissing him as she turned her head away, refusing to look at him.
Lucas nodded and handed her his suit jacket. “It’s chilly out-” he started.

Before he could finish, Lynn snatched the jacket from his hands and threw it over her shoulders. Without another glance, she turned and walked back to her seat.
Lucas watched her go, then looked at his now–empty hand, a shadow passing over his eyes. He turned and walked back inside.
Lynn leaned back in her chair, watching his retreating figure. Lucas glanced her way from time to time
Daisy said carefully, “He’s jealous.”
Lynn looked at her, incredulous. “Jealous? I don’t see it at all!”
He hadn’t shown any reaction. It was like he’d heard something completely unimportant.
“After all this time with him, you still haven’t noticed?” Isabelle asked, watching Lynn. “The way he just looked at you was pure, intense liking.”
“He likes me? So he ‘respects‘ me? He’s so ‘okay with it‘ that I can stand right in front of him and say how much I like your husband’s body? That I’m into guys with builds like his?” Lynn said, dissatisfied. “If he liked me, he’d say, ‘I’ve got one too. You like it? I’ll show you.‘ Not act like this.”
Lucas wasn’t small around the chest either. If he wasn’t 45 inches, he was at least 43–the difference wasn’t big. Lynn just didn’t have the guts to check him out openly.
Based on Lucas‘ past behavior, Lynn thought he was the type to always get even. He especially loved teasing her with his words. He’d done it plenty of times.
Why would he pass up a perfect chance to tease me now?
Daisy wagged a finger. “Ah, not necessarily. Lucas has never been in a relationship. Getting him to say something cheesy is probably harder than getting Damian to dance.”
Isabelle laughed.
Lynn smiled too.
The party went on for a long time. Lynn personally saw Isabelle and Daisy off.
Lucas stood beside her. The two of them put on a picture–perfect, harmonious couple act as they stood with the elders, saying goodbye to the remaining guests,
Once in the car. Damian looked at Isabelle. He seemed like he wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words.
“What’s wrong?” Isabelle asked with a smile.

Chapter 532 Phone Lock Screen
Damian frowned. “Don’t tell your friends about our private moments. I have a reputation to uphold.” Isabelle pressed her lips together, trying not to laugh. Even if she didn’t say anything, Lynn’s mouth had already spun several versions of that night’s events. There was no need for her to add to the stories.
Damian clicked his tongue, at a loss for words.
That night, Isabelle had begged him to dance, but he’d refused, determined to protect his dignity. In the end, worn down by her persistence, he still didn’t dance, but he did let her take a few photos.
Even though his face wasn’t in them–only his body from the neck down–it was still embarrassing. He wanted to disappear.
“You didn’t send those photos to anyone, did you?” Damian asked, his brow furrowed.
“No.” Isabelle said, letting out a soft laugh.
She’d set one as her phone lock screen. Lynn and Daisy immediately knew who the headless, shirtless torso in the photo belonged to. But whenever anyone else asked. Isabelle just said she’d found it online. Now, every time Isabelle’s phone screen lit up, it showed a photo guaranteed to make hormones spike.
