Juniper paused her watering. "I do, but I don't care about any of that. If I can be with the person I love, it doesn't matter if it's for a day or a year. None of that matters to me."

Stella's eyelashes fluttered slightly. "You really love him that much?"

"Yes." Juniper's tone was unshakable. "I'd give up everything for him."

Stella lowered her gaze to the flowers in front of her and didn't speak for a long time.

Noticing her intense focus on the blooms, Juniper suddenly asked, "Oh, right! The flowers I sent you a few days ago, did you like them?"

Stella snapped back to the present. "I did."

Juniper offered a radiant smile. "Forget-me-nots aren't very expensive, and they aren't the most glamorous, but they're my absolute favorite. I actually built a whole section of the greenhouse just for them. Let me show you."

Because of the chaos with Calico going missing, Stella had forgotten the bouquet at Leonard's cafe. Leonard had brought it to her the next day, and she had put it in a vase. She hadn't actually known the name of the flower.

"That bouquet..." Stella murmured. "It's called forget-me-not?"

"Yeah. It's a very unique name, isn't it?"

As they walked past the section dedicated to baby's breath, Juniper stopped. She turned to Stella and explained, "Baby's breath is usually paired with a lot of other flowers, so there's a high demand for it, which is why I grow so much. It's pretty on its own, but it's mostly used as a filler to complement the main blooms. That's why the flower language of baby's breath is 'a love willing to be a supporting character.'"

Stella froze slightly.

The greenhouse tour took over an hour. Afterward, Stella sat down for another cup of tea before finally standing up to leave.
