Julian's sickening taunts were the only things echoing in his skull. He had no idea who had just grabbed him, assuming it was just another bodyguard trying to interfere. Without thinking, he violently swung his arm to shake them off.

The massive force of the blow sent Nora flying backward. Losing her balance completely, she stumbled like a broken doll before crashing heavily into the unforgiving dirt.
