The Love I Begged For Was Never Real novel Chapter 330

Collapsing into his embrace and feeling the steady, powerful thud of his heart, the sheer terror and injustice that the drugs had forcibly suppressed completely shattered through Nora's defenses.

Her hands uselessly clawed at his shirt as tears slid silently down her face, soaking the fabric over his chest.

Gideon held the violently trembling woman against him, spun around, and marched methodically out of the room.

"Whichever hand he touched her with, destroy it."

Behind him, a massive bodyguard stepped forward, utterly devoid of emotion. He locked his boot onto the hand Winston had just used to grab Nora and stomped down mercilessly.

CRACK—

A sickening, horrific crunch of bone shattered the silence in the room.

"AHHH—! MY HAND!!! Mr. Hayes, please have mercy!! AHHH—!!"

Nora remained buried in Gideon's arms. The blood-curdling screams pierced her eardrums, but she no longer had the strength to even register a thought.

The violent dizziness and the agonizing heat of the drug completely annihilated her sanity.

Acting purely on instinct, her hands tightened their grip on Gideon's trench coat. She pressed her scorching face against his freezing chest before plunging entirely into darkness.

Inside the car, the privacy partition had already been raised, completely isolating the front and rear seats into separate worlds.

An intensely heavy, unnatural heat filled the air.

Nora curled up in the corner of the massive leather seat. Her face burned with an unnatural crimson flush, and a terrifyingly high temperature seeped endlessly through her skin.

She tore frantically at the collar of her thin coat, her breathing rapid and chaotic.

Gideon sat right beside her. With a single thrust of his long arm, he forcefully pulled her thrashing, dangerously feverish body straight into his chest.

The violent bloodlust had yet to fade from the man's dark eyes. His deeply furrowed brows looked even more menacing in the dim light of the car.
