Too Late To Love Me I Already Left With His Twins (Lydia and Dave) novel Chapter 68

I let the silence sit for a few seconds.

Then stood up.

“Let me make this simple,” I said. “You are trying to fix noise.”

They watched me.

“This is not noise,” I continued. “This is a breach.”

A few of them shifted.

“You are treating symptoms. I am looking for the source.”

I picked up my phone.

“Until you find it,” I added, “stop wasting my time with surface-level solutions.”

And then I walked out.

Because if I stayed another minute, I might actually say what I was thinking.

And that would not be… productive.

By the time I got back to my office, I was already dialing.

Not my legal team.

Not PR.

+15

Someone else.

The line rang once.

Twice.

Then picked.

“Sir.”

No greeting.

No name.

Good.

“I need a situation handled,” I said.

“Understood.”

“Cyn.”

A pause.

Then-

“We’ve seen the reports.”

“Good. Then you know why I’m calling.”

“Yes, sir.” 1

I walked toward the window.

Looked out at the city.

“She’s been careless,” I said. “And now she’s talking.”

“What are your instructions?”

Simple question.

I answered just as simply.

“I want her removed.”

Silence.

Listening.

“Not permanently,” I added.

Another pause.

“Understood.”
