Chapter 12
Once he had gotten his things, Caelum carried on walking to the library, and 1, yep, I continued following him, with a plan already swirling around my head.
I mean, with what happen in the hallway, there was no way I was letting go of this opportunity. So the second saw him stepped into the library, I take a very much needed breath.
Here goes nothing.
Stepping in after him a second later, the library was silence, like graveyard silence, with no soul on it. There was no one in sight, and all I welcomed to was the faint hum of the light and the smell of old books that made everything feel weirdly heavy.
Without stopping, I carried on making my way through the large room in search of Caelum, when I heard a loud sharp of something hitting the floor.
My attention drifted to a room tucked away at the far end of the library, you won’t even know it was there unless you are far deep into the library, that’s how hidden it was.
Slowling down a bit once I got to the door, my ears perked, trying to pick up a sound as to what he was doing, when I heard the faint scratch of a brush againt a canvas.
The curiousity got the best of me and I walked closer to the door which was slightly cracked open. And before I could think to stop myself, I peeked my head inside.
Let just say the sight in front of me, left me completely stunned and bitting my lips.
Caelum stood right in front of a freaking large canvas, seemly focused on painting like the rest of the world didn’t matter. He had loosed the hoodie, which was now laying on a slightly worn out couch.
The problem was that he had on a white short sleeve shirt, and holy bloody shit, was his forearm veiny.
He looked way more than just fit, why bagged the question as to why he was hiding such a body under such a depressing
outfit.
Focus Delilah
But damn
I continue watching him, taking in the sight of his paint stained fingers dragging the brush across the canvas with slow, precise movement, that had absolutely no business looking so damn attractive.
Blinking again in disbelief. Okay, maybe the nerd had one decent quality, maybe.
A few strand of hair had fallen into his face, and when he had leaned back slightly to study the painting, he reached up and pulled his glasses off before running tiredly at his eyes.
That again catches me off guard than it should have. Because without his glasses, he was……
No
Absolutely not
I refused to find Caelum Hart attractive.
Hell no, cause that would be genuinely humiliating

Still, I caught myself once again staring as he dips the brush back into the painting and carried on working.
And annoyingly enough, he was actually freaking good. Not average good, like really really really good.

The painting looked really ridiculously detailed already, every brush stroke careful and deliberate that anyone could tell he knew just what he was doing.
What the hell couldn’t this loser do anyway?
Before I could even think to ponder on it more, the stupid door betrayed me by cracking so loudly, causing/his hand to pause instantly and his emerald eyes slowly lifted up, meeting mine through the small opening.
He watched me for a second or two, the awkwardness floating in the air for just that very moment.
“Have you resulted to stalking now, Quinn.” He asked flatly, putting on his glasses.
Bummer
I rolled my eyes at this before pushing open the door, and making my way in. “Trust me, Hart,” I said since we were on firs name base, “if I was gonna stalk someone, it definitely wouldn’t be you.”
My gaze drifted off from him to the painting anway then unfortunately, back to him again. “I saw what happened at the hallway earlier,” I finally said, leaning against one of the tables nearby while folding my arms across my chest.
Caelum returned his gaze back to his painting, as his brush contineued to move across the canvas in slow controlled strokes, like he was forcing himself to focus on that instead of me.
“Thought you said you weren’t stalking me.”” He muttered under his breath, getting an eye roll from me.
“I just happened to be there.”
“Mhm,” his brush moved across the canvas again. “Funny how you always happen to there whenever I’m getting humiliated,” the bitterness in his voice caught me off guard for a second.
And because I was apparently incapable of being emotionally supportive for longer than thirty second, my mouth moved before my brain could stop it.
“Well, humiliation does seem to follow you around like a lost puppy.”
I regretted it, just a tiny little bit, the second the words left my mouth.
Caelum’s hand once again paused mid brushstroke, as his head slowly turned toward my direction with a hard glare.
Yeah, fair enough
With an awkward clearing of throat, I add. “Okay, that came out more bitchier than I intended for it to.” His expression remained blank. “I said it came out wrong,” my tone a bit defensive. “That’s basically an apology from me, so don’t get greedy.” still nothing.
God, he was impossible
Letting out a sigh, I pushed myself off the table. “What I meant was…Jason and his little brain dead football cult shouldn’t have done what they did to you.”
He lets out a humorless laugh under his breath, looking back at his painting. “Careful now, or I might actually start believing you’ve gone soft.”
I gasps in mock offense. What ever do you mean? I have always been soft hearted.” He slowly looked at me again, and that was it. I groaned. “Okay fine, maybe I can be bitchy some of the time.”

Chapter 12
A voucho
He lifts one of his brows higher. “Oh, fuck off,” I muttered, “that’s all you’re getting from me.” and to my surprise, the corner if his mouth twitched just slightly, like he was trying not to smile.
The room fell into another silence again with only the soft scratch of his brush against the canvas being heard. I hated how calim he looked while painting, and how fucking well it suited him.
With him having on a short sleeves, exposing his toned forearms that was streaked with faint smudge of paint and every time his hand moved, the muscle flexed a bit beneath his skin.
Annoying
Very annoying
Suddenly he stopped painting altogether, placing his brush down carefully, finally turning fully toward me. “What do you really want, Delilah?”
There it was, we were now getting straight to the point
I tilt my head innocently to the side, “you know what I want.”
His jaw clenched at this. “And you know what my answer is.” His reponse pissed me off more than it should have.
I stepped closer anyway, my boots echoing softly against the floor, “are you seriously going to turn me down after what happens in the hallway.”
His shoulders stiffened. “You saw the way Jason kissed her in front of you,” I continued slowly, “the way he had his hand all over her.”
He gulped, his jaw tightening again. “D…don’t,” he mutters quietly, but I ignored him.
“You saw the way he grabbed her ass, letting you know she belonged to him.” His ear turned red almost instantly.
God, this guy was painfully easy to fluster
“Don’t you want that to be you?” I carried on softer this time. “Don’t you want to be the one kissing her instead?”
Caelum looked away so quickly it almost made me laugh
“To touch her,” I continued, my voice lower now, “feel her.”
“S…stop talking,.” he stuttered out, gripping the edge of the chair tightly.
And there it was, the crack in his composure
His breathing had changed too, slightly uneven now, and his shoulders were tensed beneath the thin fabric of his shirt.
I could practically see the internal battle happening inside his head
Part of him wanted me to leave
The other part definitely didn’t
A slow smirk spread across my lips as I walked toward him, causing him to immediately striaghtened in his seat the closer I got to him. His eyes widened slightly behind his glasses.
“You look nervous…” I teased.
“I’m n….not nervous.” The stutter ruined the lie instantly.

Carefully, I pushed the painting further aside so that I don’t have to accidentally ruin it before turning back toward him.
And before he could think to protest, I slide into his lap, settling myself over him slowly.
The second I did, his entire body goes rigid underneath me, completely still. His breath visibly caught while his hands immediately gripped the edge of the chair again instead of touching me, like he was scared to.
I fight the urge not to smirk at this, knowing how nervous he was.
He shifted a bit beneath me, probably trying to get comfortable, but the movement made me feel him through the thin fabric separating us.
Oh was he huge
Even with the fabric seperating us, I could tell he was huge.
Heat instantly rushes through me as my lips parted slighly before I could stop myself.
Seriously?
I had literally just had sex in a janitor’s closet not too long ago for my body to be acting this desperate.
And yet here I was
Still needy
Aching
And painfully aware of the guy underneath me.
Caelum on the other hand swallowed hard, his face flushing red while he stared at anywhere but my eyes. “W…what are you doing?” he whispered shakily.
Leaning closer till my lips brushed lightly against his ear. “Helping you,” I purred out. A low sound, almost like a grunt escaped his lips.
Fuck. That sound alone nearly did something to me.
Slowly I slid one hand up the back of his neck, feeling the way his muscles tensed beneath my touch while I shifted my hips slightly against him.
His reaction was immediate, a quiet whimper leaves his lips before he bit down hard on the bottom of his lips, flushing red again at the noise he had made.
My thighs tightened instinctively around me as I slowly rolled my hips against his lap again, feeling the way his body instantly tensed beneath me.
He sucks into another shaky breath, his fingers gripping the edge of the chair so tightly his knuckles turned pale.
Damn, he was wrecked already, and I hadn’t even done much.
“Tell me something,.” I whispered near his ear, my voice dripping with amusement. “Don’t you like this?” I ground my hips against him again, slower this time.
The friction made the heat coil low in my stomach, and judging by the broken sound that escaped him, he felt it too.
“De… Delilah…” he breathed out weakly.
