"I want to carry the baby for you!"
Judging by his expression, he wasn't spouting nonsense. He looked like he had genuinely given it deep thought.
"Right."
Juniper patted his shoulder, speaking with profound earnestness. "That is an excellent proposal. On behalf of women everywhere, I thank you."
"I'll make sure Subterra Vanguard looks into this research immediately."
She wrapped her arms around his neck, her eyes narrowing into a playful smile. "We'll strive to make sure that in the future, you can be both the father and the mother."
"You're not mad anymore?"
He took the opportunity to pull her securely into his lap, looking down at her with infinite tenderness.
"I was never mad to begin with."
She looked up at him, a faint smile gracing her lips. "I just thought you were being too impulsive, hurting your own body like that."
"Juniper."
He hugged her tight, burying his face in the crook of her neck. "I missed you so much. What about you? Did you miss me?"
"I was alright."
Refusing to let him get too smug, she deliberately played it cool.
"Alright means you missed me."
He was shameless enough to easily give himself an out. "The wedding is on the twentieth. Are you nervous?"
"I think you're the one who's nervous." She stared at him with a knowing half-smile. "Terrified I'd become a runaway bride and never come back."
"Never."
He kissed her cheek, his eyes overflowing with pampering affection. "I know that no matter where you go, you'll always come back to me."
"Oh?"
She watched him quietly for a few seconds before leaning in to press a light kiss to his lips. "So confident?"
"Mhm."
He froze for a brief second before turning the tables, scooping her up entirely and murmuring into her ear, "Are you full?"
"?"
She looked down, staring at him in confusion.
"Because I'm not."
He let out a low chuckle, carrying her toward the bedroom, his voice entirely seductive. "Baby, do you want to play a game today?"
"No." Seeing the look in his eyes, her immediate instinct was to bolt.
The lingering trauma from the last time they 'played a game' hadn't quite faded.
"My poor baby."
He kissed her nose, chuckling softly. "I'll be gentler next time."
She glared at him fiercely. "If you want to die, just say the word."
"Heh." He smiled lazily, his voice soft. "I won't tease you. Watch the video."
"I can't hear it." She complained playfully. "Hold it higher."
"Alright."
Playing the dutiful human phone stand, he turned up the volume and adjusted his position so she could lean more comfortably.

At the venue.
The competition was in full swing, and the audience was eagerly betting on who the champion would be.
Most people were placing their bets on William from Moralia Country.
In the first and second rounds, he had used the least amount of time and achieved the highest scores.
Now, in the final third round, his coding speed was blisteringly fast, leaving everyone else in the dust.
"Didn't the student from Eclara University make their prompt a little too easy?"
