Stella could see that Summer was incredibly confident in her relationship with Lucca. To her, a proposal and marriage were inevitable milestones.

Yet, thinking back to the predatory look Lucca had flashed Aria last night, Stella felt a sickening wave of anxiety.

"Summer, does Lucca frequently play around with other girls?"

Summer shot her a look. "Why? Did you catch him with another girl again?"

"Not 'with' her, exactly."

After a moment of hesitation, Stella recounted the entire incident from the previous night. "Later, the girl even came up to me specifically. She basically said she couldn't afford to mess with a guy like him and wanted him to stop harassing her."

Summer just let out a soft laugh and patted Stella's hand reassuringly. "Don't worry. He probably just thought she was fun to tease and went over out of boredom. He wouldn't actually harass her or cross any lines."

"Over the years, the Sterling family has shoved countless women at him—all different types. And he's ruthlessly tossed every single one of them aside. So, I have absolute faith in his love for me."

Seeing Summer's unwavering certainty, Stella couldn't bring herself to push the issue. After all, it was true that Lucca hadn't explicitly done anything physical to the girl.

The two of them then browsed a few high-end men's boutiques, checking out watches, cufflinks, and the like. But nothing caught Summer's eye. "I've gifted him all this stuff before. None of it feels special anymore."

Stella couldn't offer any groundbreaking ideas either.

"Stella, what about you? Do you want to grab something for Jarrod?"

Summer suggested, "Back at St. Jude's Island, Lucca mentioned that Jarrod actually loved the scarf you got him. If you want to keep this marriage going, buying him a few more gifts could really close the distance between you two."

Mentioning that incident brought a sharp pang of guilt to Stella's chest.

Because of her, Jarrod had become the subject of vicious backstage gossip.

And if Jarrod hadn't dragged her out of there in time, she probably would have caused an even more humiliating scene.
