"Completely stabilized?"
"Yes. Once he's married and settled, I'll go."
Sienna froze.
Finn getting married? To who? Sasha?
She quickly killed the thought.
Whoever he married, it was none of her concern.
She needed to get her own life back on track.
"Well, I should head home."
"Where are you staying?" Sienna asked.
Maeve offered a cryptic smile and didn't answer, casually hailing a cab instead.
When she gave the driver her address, Sienna overheard it.
It was The Celestial Heights—one of the most exclusive, ultra-luxury high-rises in Metropolis. Maeve lived there?
At the hospital.
Finn was getting ready to be discharged when the door pushed open.
Grant Fletcher stood in the doorway, his face dark as thunder.
"Everyone out." His voice wasn't loud, but it instantly silenced the entire room.
The nurses dropped what they were doing, lowered their heads, and practically sprinted out.
"Mr. Fletcher, he's—" Sasha barely got a word out before Lance Dayton firmly pulled her out of the room.
The door clicked shut.
Only father and son remained. The air in the room grew suffocatingly heavy, like the oppressive heat right before a violent storm.
"While I was out of the country, you turned the company completely upside down. It's an absolute circus," Grant said, his voice low but weighted with authority.
Finn didn't flinch.
He had been mentally preparing for this exact confrontation for weeks.
He had his bargaining chips ready, the undeniable proof that he was more capable than Ford, and the precise arguments to force his father's hand...
He looked at Grant's iron-hard face and started speaking.
"Dad, at the end of the day, our goals align. We both want The Fletcher Group to thrive, so—"
"Finn." Grant's voice suddenly broke.
