Chapter 840
The moment Stella learned they had Suminer’s exact location, a small, satisfied smile touched her lips.
Good.
“Send people in,” she said coldly. “And move fast.”
What she feared most was Summer going quiet again.
If Summer stopped making noise, she would be much harder to track down.
As much as Stella hated to admit it, Felix was protecting Summer far more aggressively than Evatt ever had.
But no matter what, if Stella wanted to find her, she would.
Gray turned and left to send people after Summer.
Now that they had her exact location, finding her would be much easier.
The moment Gray left, Jennifer called.
“Stella, can you help me with something?”
“What happened?”
“I want to come to Eirden.”
Jennifer’s voice was firm.
After leaving the hospital and returning home, she had gone back and forth over it.
But she still wanted to end the pregnancy.
And with Leon interfering in Harbor City, it was becoming nearly impossible.
So she had decided she needed to leave the country.
She refused to believe Leon’s reach extended that far.
“Leon is starting to pull the same shameless moves Evan used to,” Stella said.
“Exactly. He can’t handle his family, so he’s taking it out on me instead.”
Jennifer’s anger flared again just talking about it.
She had never expected Leon to be this kind of man.
Stella went quiet.
At the words he can’t handle his family, something in her chest tightened.
“Good,” she said softly. “You’re clearer headed than I was.”
Leon would probably tell Jennifer the same things Evan had once told Stella.
I’m the one marrying you, not them.
You don’t need to care what they think
You’re only living with sne, not them.
That same reckless certainty.
Could she do the same?
So the only thing Jennifer could do now was get away.
Just as Stella ended the call with Jennifer, Leon called.
Seeing his name on the screen, Stella frowned.
But she still answered.
“Hello.”
“Jennifer will probably ask you for help,” Leon said. “I hope you won’t help her leave the country.”
Stella went quiet.
Who had ever said Leon was the most straightforward one out of all of them?
Just look at how carefully he had thought this through.
She had just told Jennifer not to let Leon notice she was planning to leave.
And somehow, he had already figured it out.
“What a problem,” Stella said lightly. “Jennifer and I are close. It she asks ine for help, of course I’ll help her.
“Has she asked you already?”
Leon’s tone was no longer as gentle as before
