Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 867

She had returned without seeing her father even once.

She should at least meet him before she left.

Stella lifted her head from Aaron’s chest.

“Aaron, why do you trust Felix so much?”

She finally asked the question that had been weighing on her.

Aaron trusted Felix completely.

As though no matter what Felix did, he would never harm the Hogarth family.

Stella had never trusted anyone without reservation.

She could not understand how Aaron did.

A smile touched his lips.

He affectionately pinched the tip of her nose.

“You don’t need to understand the trust between men.”

Stella fell silent.

Aaron had not answered her directly.

But his evasive response told her enough.

He truly did trust Felix.

And their relationship clearly ran deep.

Otherwise, why would Aaron have personally intervened on Felix’s behalf that morning and ordered Stella to return Summer?

“Is Summer really dead?” Aaron asked.

Felix clearly did not believe it.

Neither did Aaron.

Stella hated the Wright family, yet she had never personally taken any of their lives.

So when she claimed she had killed Summer, neither man believed she was capable of going that fam

“She’s really dead. ”

Her answer was firm.

Those were the only words she would give anyone now.

She would admit nothing else.

Stella finally understood.

Summer truly did seem blessed by fate.

What did it matter that she had kidney failure?

If she remained in anyone else’s hands, she would still be allowed to leave this world peacefully.

Stella said nothing.

Would Michael agree?

She had only just returned,

It no longer mattered.

Once she decided to leave, no one would be able to stop her

The moment Aaron turned away, the warmth in his eyes vanished.

It was replaced by an unfathomable darkness, edged with a coldness he could barely suppress.

In the end, Stella did not go downstairs for dinner.

She did not even want to face Aaron now.

That alone showed how deeply his actions that morning had hurt her.

A maid brought dinner to her room instead.

Stella had only taken a few bites when Jennifer called

She answered.

“Jennifer, Gray told me his people couldn’t get you out.”

“That bastard has me locked up.”

Stella went silent.
