Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 901

Chapter 901

The car had been gone from the Hogarth estate for barely five minutes.

Stella had just resigned herself to being taken to Felix when the vehicle suddenly slammed into something with a deafening crash.

The impact threw her violently off balance.

Through the ringing in her ears, she vaguely heard two more crashes, followed by muffied groans from Jack and Avdo in the front.

Her own body slammed hard against the seatback, leaving her dizzy and disoriented.

Before she could steady herself, the door beside her was yanked open.

Someone grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the car.

“Let go…”

“It’s me.”

Seymour’s deep voice cut her off.

Still dazed, Stella lifted her head and tried to focus on him.

Her lips parted, but Seymour gave her no chance to speak.

He shoved her into another car and immediately climbed in after her.

“Miss Rowan! Stop! Damn it!”

Avdo’s furious shout came from behind them.

He and Jack tried to force their doors open, but the impact had/jammed them shut.

“Seymour?”

The moment Seymour glanced back, Avdo recognized him as one of Amos’s men from Seaborne.

His expression changed instantly.

Jack had no idea what the name Seymour meant.

Before he could ask, Seymour sped away with Stella.

Avdo tore the deployed airbag out of his way in fury.

“Who is Seymour?” Jack demanded.

Watching Stella being taken had thrown him into a panic too.

He struggled to find his phone so he could call Felix.

“He used to work for Amos,” Avdo said. “No. More accurately, he works for Evan now.”

Jack went still.

Evan’s man?

They had barely gotten Stella out of the Hogarth estate, and Evan’s people had already intercepted them?

Felix answered the call quickly.

“Do you have her?”

His voice was cold.

“Sir, Mr. Wright’s men took Miss Rowan.”

“What?”

The moment Felix heard that Evan’s people had taken Stella, fury flooded his eyes.

Evan’s men.

They had actually managed to take her.

“We had only just left the estate when they intercepted us,” Jack said. “They took Miss Rowan and disabled our car.”

There was no way for them to chase after her now.

“Why are Evan’s people in Eirden?” Felix demanded.

He had people watching closely to make sure none of Evan’s men got near Stella.

And recently, everyone around her was supposed to belong to the Hogarth family.

No.

Something was wrong.

But somewhere along the way, everything had changed.

Was it really because of Stella?

No.

As far as Evan was concerned, none of this was because of a woman.

It was because Felix had wanted too much.

Felix’s already dark expression turned even colder at the mocking way Evan addressed him.

He closed his eyes briefly.

“Have your man bring her to the airport immediately. I’m waiting.”

Every word carried the weight of a dangerous command.

Evan raised a brow.

“Felix, are you joking? You actually think I would listen to you?”

Even back in Harbor City, when their relationship first fell apart, Evan had stopped seeing Felix as his brother,

And now?

There was even less chance of that.

“Summer is dead,” Felix said. “Stella is in serious trouble.”

“She is. She’s stuck with you.”

Evan’s voice turned cold.

“What is it? Are you planning to make her pay for Summer?”

Serious trouble?

As far as Evan could see, Felix had been the one causing Stella trouble every step of the way when it came to Summer.

And Aaron too.

Aaron was supposed to stand unconditionally on Stella’s side.
