Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 932

Amos’s tone was mocking.

Aaron’s patience with him had already worn thin long ago.

Now, hearing that question, the last of his restraint snapped.

“Don’t force me to destroy Seaborne.”

Amos fell silent.

Every word in Aaron’s voice carried a chilling threat.

“Evan is dead,” Aaron continued. “There is no reason for your people to take her anywhere.”

“Evan said she should be allowed to live the life she wants.”

“And what exactly does she want?”

The life she wanted?

What could Evan possibly know about that now?

He was dead.

And when Stella had still been beside him, he had never understood what she truly wanted either.

Now he was gone, and suddenly he had everything arranged for her?

“You’re cold-blooded,” Amos said. “You barely seem human.”

Aaron’s expression darkened.

“You expect everyone to live according to your rules. In your world, there’s only profit. Right and wrong don’t even matter.”

Anyone who had spent time around the Hogarth family knew how little room emotion held in their world.

They cared only about what they wanted.

Whether something was right or wrong came second, if it mattered at all.

Living among people like that was what truly felt terrifying.

“Is that any of your concern?” Aaron asked.

“Looks like what happened back then still didn’t teach you enough.”

Amos refused to back down.

He spoke to Aaron with the same hostility he had carried for years.

Aaron had hunted him across the world for so long that Amos had plenty of resentment of his own.

And now that Amos was back in Seaborne, he did not believe Aaron would waste more effort coming after him.

If Amos’s side had secured the shipment this time, perhaps Aaron would have.

Even then, Seaborne had already made preparations.
