"It’s not like that. I am willing to answer that," Myra’s voice came out soft yet firm. Her eyes lingered and paused on each of her mates for a brief moment. Then she looked down at her own interlinked fingers. With a sigh, she started, her gaze now locked on Dion, "The night of Elio and Nora’s birthday, after the banquet was over, you came to my room and called me with that word."

"Brother Dio, you went to her room after the party, that late at night?" Elio questioned, his face scrunched up. His fists tightened in an iron grip.

Dion ignored his youngest brother’s edgy tone and hummed, his eyes fixated on Myra. "Yes. I did. I knew since then that you were my destiny."

His choice of words made Myra’s heart itch. He surely knew what to say to drive her crazy.
