Laila smiled lightly and continued, “Business is difficult in every industry these days. Jenna, there’s no need to feel guilty. I’m sure Princess Morgana can understand as well, right, Your Highness?”

Laila turned her head and looked at Morgana.

Morgana stared back at her, baffled. What are you looking at me for? Before coming in, you clearly told me not to speak unless necessary, and now you’re asking me?

But under Laila’s subtle gaze, she could only nod stiffly. “Right.”

Laila accepted that single word. “Exactly. We can’t blame Jenna; Business is simply hard.”
