No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1103

Upon hearing the call, Noelle glanced toward the ringing phone while Cedric remained holding her hand. Their fingers were tightly interlaced.

As he leaned in, he murmured in a low voice, "Can't you focus a little?"

Noelle snuggled against his chest, reaching out to trace his abs. His body was impeccably fit, as always. When his hand slipped beneath her shirt and gripped her waist, his breathing grew noticeably heavier.

The study desk beneath her felt cold, but with her body pressed against his warmth, her heart was full and content.

The next morning, Noelle opened her eyes and found herself in a slightly unfamiliar bedroom. Cedric was wrapped tightly around her, and she smiled quietly to herself.

"Awake?" Cedric murmured in a low and hoarse voice as he kissed her ear. "About last night… Does it still hurt?"

"I'm okay," she mumbled, face half-buried beneath the blanket. She was feeling a little shy.

They'd taken the final step last night. Though they used to be together, they'd never crossed that line until now. Cedric pressed a kiss to her forehead and asked, "What do you want for breakfast?"

After thinking about it, she replied, "Not in the mood for a Weltien breakfast."

Cedric was utterly speechless, and seeing his reaction, Noelle couldn't help but laugh. "I'm kidding. You're cooking for me, so how could I possibly be picky?"

He held her hand and kissed it gently. "You don't have to say that just to comfort me. I've just started learning to cook, but I'm sure I'll be better than Eugene one day."

"Why are you comparing your cooking to his? He has way more free time than you do, so he cooks more often in general and gets more practice."

He and Eugene were totally different types, but Noelle liked Cedric more.

She glanced at the scattered clothes across the floor, and her cheeks flushed again upon recalling last night's intense moments.

She cleared her throat. Considering how much she liked Cedric, the unfolding events felt entirely natural.

In the walk-in closet, Noelle found everything neatly arranged, with not a single item missing. Sure enough, that was the power of money. Anything could be arranged flawlessly.

Noelle didn't hold back either. She changed into a new outfit and stepped out to grab her phone, only to notice several missed calls.

Most of them were from Frank. He probably found out she'd returned home and was trying to contact her. There was also a message from Mia, saying she had something important to discuss.
