Carl had just walked out of the hospital when he heard someone calling him from behind.
"Please hold on, Mr. Liddell."
When he turned around and saw Ivy, his gaze turned cold. Then, he stopped in his tracks without saying anything.
Meanwhile, Ivy said nicely, "Mr. Liddell, I'm worried about Mia. Can her leg really recover? Can we prepare anything to help?"
"What does it have to do with you?" he asked coldly.
Upon hearing that, she was stunned. She didn't expect that attitude from him at all. "Mr. Liddell, is there some kind of misunderstanding?"
Carl just stared at her for a moment before walking away. He wasn't planning on wasting his time on her at all.
After watching him leave, Ivy looked more serious, thinking about how hostile he was toward her. From what she could remember, they didn't know each other at all.
After Carl left in his car, he went straight to Liddell Corporation. Donovan was surprised to see him there. "What brings you here? How's Noelle's friend now?"
"She's fine." Carl glanced at the documents on the desk about the clean energy vehicles and asked, "How's your partnership with PZ Group coming along?"
"It's going well. PZ Group is generous with their money, and they don't really care about the production status here."
"I think you should think of a way to cut ties with them first," Carl said coldly.
"What's wrong? Is there any issue with PZ Group? Don't tell me you think they're shady after listening to Noelle, too!"
"It has nothing to do with her. There really is something wrong with that company. They're scammers who didn't find success in their investments."
