Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 422

"Ms. Sinclair, every word I'm saying is true! I... I have proof!" the man gasped in pain, his voice breaking.

"Oh?" Isabella eased the pressure on her foot slightly and lifted her chin, signaling him to show her.

Trembling, the man pulled a sweat-stained document from his jacket and offered it with both hands.

Isabella snatched the file. As her indifferent gaze swept over the information on the page, her pupils abruptly dilated!

It was a DNA report!

The black-and-white text clearly stated that there was a biological mother-daughter relationship between Phoebe and herself.

Not only that, but when she flipped to the next page and saw the photograph of the girl tucked inside, all her doubts vanished instantly.

The girl in the photo, Phoebe, shared the exact same glamorous, arrogant features.

This was her own flesh and blood!

Isabella fought to suppress the overwhelming shock crashing over her, her fingertips turning white as she gripped the paper.

She continued reading. When Warren's name and details entered her vision, the heavy doors locking away her deepest memories shattered completely.

"Ugh—!"

Isabella suddenly let out a low, agonizing groan, her head throbbing as if it might split open. She crouched down, clutching her head tightly.

She remembered. She remembered it all!

Back when she was young and reckless, she had traveled to Cloudhaven and gotten drunk in a local bar.

Fueled by alcohol, she spent a wild night with a stranger.

Shortly after returning to Highcrest, she discovered she was pregnant. Perhaps out of some inexplicable maternal instinct, she kept it a secret from everyone and quietly gave birth to the child.

But secrets never last forever. When the truth threatened to come out, she was forced to send the baby back to Cloudhaven.

During that chaotic time, she was involved in an accident and suffered severe head trauma. When she woke up, she had selective amnesia, completely wiping that chapter from her mind.

"Heh... Good. This is just perfect!"

Isabella slowly lifted her head. Her stunning face was now twisted with sheer fury and venom, looking like a demon crawling out of hell. "To think that the day I get my memory back is the day I learn of my daughter's death! And that useless man died right along with her!"

She snapped her head around, her predatory gaze pinning the man on the floor. Her words dripped with malice: "Tell me, who killed them?!"

Terrified out of his wits, the man stuttered out the name:

"It... it was... Phoenix Prescott from Cloudhaven!!"
