Reborn: Apocalypse Ready. War Goddess by My Side novel Chapter 167

Chapter 167 The Spear That Never Missed

Steven spun his spear in a wide arc and smashed another beast’s head apart.

Given how much stronger he’d become, killing these level 1 beasts was almost too easy now.

His strength had already reached 100 points, equal to a level 10 One–Sigil Awakened.

And with the 40 percent boost from his armor, Steven was basically close to the level of an SSS–rank Two- Sigil Divine Envoy.

Against low–level beasts like these, it was no challenge at all.

He charged through the swarm. Blood sprayed everywhere. Flesh flew across the street.

But Fiona’s side looked even more shocking.

Frost exploded across the road, freezing the pavement solid.

Her blade flashed again and again. Beasts died one after another, frozen in ice before being shattered into pieces.

The two of them fought separately, each clearing their own side.

In barely one or two minutes, the dozen or so beasts were wiped out completely.

Fiona glanced at the kill count. She had clearly killed more than Steven.

A faint look of pride appeared on her face. Did she really need someone guiding her?

Not at all.

Still, one question kept bothering her.

“You’re not using your Divine Sigil powers at all?”

Steven glanced at her, but before he could answer, another wave of beasts rushed in.

This time, there were nearly thirty of them.

He had no time to explain.

Steven charged forward again.

His spear shot out fiercely. Without hesitation, he plunged straight into the beast pack

Fiona was filled with shock and confusion.

She kept fighting, but part of her attention stayed locked on Steven.

He really wasn’t using any Divine Sigil power.

Chapter 16 The Spear That Never Missed

It made no sense.

He was only a newly awakened fighter, so where was all that strength coming from?

Under his spear, the beasts exploded one after another.

Every strike was clean and decisive. No wasted movement. No flashy tricks.

Almost every thrust was a killing blow.

In that area, he really was terrifyingly strong.

The more she watched, the more she realized how unusual Steven was.

Was this guy seriously some kind of monster?

The two of them slaughtered beast after beast.

Wave after wave crashed toward them.

Corpses soon covered the ground.

Steven smirked. “Just common sense.”

Danny laughed louder. “That’s not common sense. Without surviving countless battles, nobody figures that out.”

Olivia’s voice joined in as well. “Fiona, listen to Steven carefully. Don’t look down on him just because he’s only One–Sigil. His fighting skills and combat instincts are better than even Danny and the others.

“Every one of them is a veteran who’s fought through real battlefields.”

Danny and the others laughed. “That part’s true. He’s better than me.”

Then he grinned. “By the way, Steven, we still haven’t had our official team dinner yet. I’ve been wanting to sit down and have a few drinks with you.”

Even while fighting, he still found time to joke around.

Steven laughed lightly. “After we finish today, we drink till we drop.”

Danny burst out laughing. “Deal!”

Hearing their conversation, Fiona did not know what to say.

The way they talked to Steven so naturally, so comfortably…

It meant they had already accepted him as part of the team. But they still had not fully accepted hee

She truly could not understand it,

Was Steven really that strong?

Noticing Fiona staring at him again, Steven didn’t react much.

“Next, you need to start controlling your power. Little by little, get used to killing beasts with pure physical strength.

“Divine Sigil power isn’t meant to be wasted on level 1 beasts. The moment you run into a level 2 on level beast. You’re going to be in serious trouble”
