She was still feeling shy.

Her eyes wandered around the room curiously.

Steven smiled.

The two of them started cleaning together.

“Just stay here for now. Don’t overthink anything.”

Bianca softly responded, “Okay.”

Her cheeks flushed red. The feeling was so strange and wonderful. From now on, they would be living under the same roof.

“Steven,” Bianca called his name softly.

“Hm? What is it?”

She looked at him with sincere eyes.

“Thank you. You saved us again.”

Steven smiled. “No need to thank me. Did you forget? I’ve got my own motives. One day, you’ll be the one protecting me.”

Bianca’s ears turne

red. “But… can I really protect you?

“I feel like there’s nothing left I can do to repay you.”

Steven jokingly replied, “What, are you planning to marry me?”

Bianca instantly looked up at him. Then she shyly lowered her head again.

“I… I… maybe…”

She was too embarrassed to say it aloud. She wanted to say that it was possible.

But no matter what, the words just wouldn’t come out.

Right at that moment, Vanessa walked in carrying a basin of water.

“It’s already pretty clean here. It doesn’t need much tidying.”

Bianca immediately lowered her head in panic.

Steven secretly laughed to himself.

Vanessa, you two should wash up and rest early. If you need anything, just call me.”

Vanessa smiled and nodded. “Alright. Thank you, Steven.”

Steven walked out.

Vanessa noticed her daughter’s bright red face.

“Bianca, what’s wrong?”

“Huh? N–nothing, Mom. I’m fine.”

Vanessa thoughtfully studied Bianca’s flustered expression.

Then she smiled faintly. “Actually, Steven is a pretty good boy. I support you.”

Bianca’s face flushed. “Mom! What are you talking about? It’s not like that!”

Vanessa smiled knowingly. “Do you think I don’t know my own daughter?”

Bianca felt so embarrassed that she wanted to disappear.

Outside the room, Steven’s sharp psychic strength picked up every word. He smiled.

Man, this feels amazing.

Still, he didn’t dare imagine actually winning over the future Ember Eternal. Once she awakened, she would probably meet even more talented geniuses in the future.

Steven quickly went to wash up. Truthfully, he was already exhausted. His body felt unbelievably weak.

He collapsed onto the bed.

Then, he took out the three level 2 beast crystals, his eyes gradually burning with excitement.

In human society, the value of one level 2 beast crystal was roughly equal to ten level 1 beast crystals.

One was worth ten.

Steven could hardly believe it. That meant he now effectively possessed 30 level 1 beast crystals.

The only thing he could do was force himself to withstand the pain.

That was something he had to endure.

Since he didn’t know how to allocate the points, he could only silently wish for them to distribute evenly.
