Chapter 167
“It won’t be long until we get to the hunter’s camp,” he said darkly as she nodded meekly.
“But we have time,” he added calmly as she frowned in confusion.
Time for what? She thought time was of the essence. They needed to get to the camp, didn’t it? So why was he stopping the car and pulling over? It made no sense to her at all and she looked out the window blankly, not comprehending his intentions.
“What are you doing?” she gasped as he pulled the back door open roughly, smirking down at her “We need to get going! Otherwise…”
She trailed off at the expression on his face. His hands began to move to her cloak, pulling it down off her shoulders, untying it as she tried to scramble backwards in panic.
She was naked. Cold and entirely exposed to his gaze as he licked his lips, a knowing smile on his face.
Suddenly, his words made a sickening sense. She should have known better. He’d been eyeing her ever since they got in the car. She’d just hoped she was imagining things, but should have listened to her instincts.
“That’s better,” he chuckled, grinding against her as she shuddered. “Let’s see how much of me you can take princess. Try anything, though,” he warned, “and you’ll regret it. I’m not a forgiving man. You might be a shifter, but that won’t stop me from carving up your pretty little face or sedating you until you learn your place,” he growled.
She didn’t dare try anything. She knew his prowess and fighting skills. Not to mention it was impossible to shift in such a small space. He kept her pinned and nuzzled the nape of her neck as she lay there, before she felt him start to position himself at her entrance. He slid his cock up and down her walls, teasing her as she fought back tears. Tears were a sign of weakness. A sign of being vulnerable. She needed to be strong. She could feel his restraint, see the excitement in his eyes, and then she felt him thrust into her with one hard push as her back arched and her body began to feel as though it was on fire, her wolf coming to life and roaring one single word that changed everything and made the situation suddenly seem even more dangerous than it already was.
