The Scorned Heiress: No More Mercy novel Chapter 797

"That woman keeps coming after you. I say we end this once and for all so she can never pull a stunt like this again."

Danny doesn't care if Tara finds it annoying; he finds Jade absolutely infuriating. The woman is like a cockroach that refuses to die, constantly popping up to cause trouble. He would rather crush her now and permanently eliminate the threat. If she had the nerve to do this today, who knows what psychotic thing she might try next when he isn't looking?

"It's fine. She's not a real threat, and I still need her around for a little longer," Tara replies calmly.

She definitely hasn't forgotten the grudge, but Jade is still a useful pawn. Jade isn't the only person gunning for Tara right now, and Tara plans to use her to weed out the rest of her enemies. Besides, Jade is always so painfully arrogant about her supposed Sinclair bloodline, yet she still hasn't been allowed into the family. Tara thinks she owes her a proper 'gift' for that.

"Fine. Keep her around if you want, but if she steps out of line one more time, I'm handling it myself."

Knowing Danny's ruthless nature, Tara is well aware that if she hadn't explicitly told him to back off, he would have already silenced Jade permanently.

He pauses, his brow furrowing deeply. "It's time she learns that there are some lines she absolutely cannot cross."

"Deal. If there's a next time, she's all yours," Tara agrees, sensing his lingering frustration. She wraps her arms around his, pressing herself affectionately against his side. "I know you're just looking out for me. Don't frown. She isn't worth ruining your handsome face over."

"I'm not frowning over her. Don't flatter her," Danny mutters, though he instinctively leans down to rest his chin on the top of her head.

Their quiet intimacy makes the luxurious lounge feel entirely like their own private world.

Bianca laughs. "I am drinking my coffee, and I am very awake! Look, my love life is currently a disaster, so I have to live vicariously through you. Coen is impossible. I literally wore the sexiest swimsuit I own, and he didn't even blink!"

Bianca is fuming. She had spent hours picking out the perfect swimwear to flaunt in front of him, even boldly inviting him to play a mobile game with her in the water.

His response? A flat refusal, claiming he had zero interest in games.

Later, out of sheer boredom, Bianca logged onto the game anyway. She immediately got a friend request from a suspicious new account asking to team up.
