Chapter 119
I felt a surge of adrenaline so strong it almost knocked me off my feet. “Capture them. By whatever means necessary. Do you understand me? Whatever means necessary.”
“Copy that, boss.”
What happened next I heard through the phone, the sounds of shouting, of scrambling, of gunfire cracking through the night air. I sat in my car, gripping the steering wheel, listening to the chaos unfold.
The men caught up to them at the docks. They tried to stop them but the group of thieves still tried to run. My men opened fire.
Two men were shot. One of them went down and did not get back up. The other fell into the water but was pulled out, unconscious but alive.
The four women threw their hands up immediately, screaming, crying, begging for their lives.
By the time I arrived at the scene, the two men were being loaded into separate vehicles. One was dead, a bullet through his chest. The other was in a coma.
The girls were huddled together on the dock, their hands bound with zip ties, their bodies shaking with sobs. Four of them. Young. Beautiful. And utterly pathetic now that their little game had been turned
around on them.
I got out of my car and walked toward them, my footsteps echoing on the wooden planks of the dock. The girls looked up at me, their eyes wide with terror, tears streaming down their faces.
One of them I recognized immediately. Scarlett Vance. That red hair. Those blue eyes. The same face that had smiled at me in that club, that had wrapped her lips around my cock, that had looked me in the eye while she destroyed my peace.
I stopped in front of her and looked down.
“Well, well, well,” I said. “Look who we have here.”
She opened her mouth to speak, but only a sob came out.
I let out a humorless laugh. “I told you I’m not someone to be messed with, didn’t I?”
“Please,” she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the waves. “Please, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I’ll do anything. Anything. Just please don’t hurt me.”
“Hurt you? I’m not going to hurt you, sweetheart. I’m going to make sure you rot in a cell for the rest of your life.”
She broke down completely then, her legs giving out from under her, her body collapsing onto the dock. The other three girls were crying just as hard, their pleas mixing together into a chorus of desperation that I found deeply satisfying.

I turned to my men. “Dispose of the dead body. Take the one in a coma to a secure location and get him medical treatment. I want him alive. He has information I need.”
“Yes, sir.”
“And bring the girls to my property on the east side. I’ll meet you there.”
The drive to my secluded property took fifteen minutes. It was a fully furnished bungalow with four bedrooms, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood where no one asked questions. I had bought it years ago for unique situations.
I sat in the ante room, my leg crossed, a smirk on my face as the armed men brought the girls in. Their hands were still bound and they were still crying, their makeup smeared, their clothes disheveled. They fell to their knees before me without being told, like their legs had simply given up on holding them
upright.
I looked at the other three girls in turn.
The first one was a girl with dark skin and braids, her eyes red from crying. She looked like she was barely out of her teens.
“What’s your name?” I asked.
