A surge of warmth flooded Lemira's heart. Orvin held her true friends and the man she deeply loved.

She blinked in awe. "Where are we?"

"My place. It's late, and this is the only property I own with a private helipad."

Lemira looked up at him. "I'm only just now fully realizing that my boyfriend is terrifyingly wealthy."

"Then as the lady of the manor, would you care to step inside?"

"I'd love to."

Lemira exchanged a sweet look with Orion before they walked through the grand double doors, hand in hand.

The next morning, they were jolted awake by the shrill ringing of a phone.
