"For the sake of his daughter's health, he had to agree to Elena's demands and keep her around."

Ivy listened in absolute disbelief.

"Elena drugged Mr. Foster, and she poisoned Stella?"

How could that woman be so wicked? She wouldn't even spare a five-year-old child.

It made perfect sense now. That day when Stella vanished in the hospital, she must have been knocked out and kidnapped the moment she stepped outside.

Ivy looked at Leo anxiously. "Then call the cops! I don't believe she'd dare withhold the antidote if the police were involved."

Leo looked helpless. "With a woman like that, the police won't do any good."

"She's already gone this far; she clearly doesn't care if she lives or dies."

"Just stay here with the little miss for now. If you need anything, let me know. Try not to bother the boss for the time being. He should be able to handle things with Elena."
