Ivy swatted Alaric's hand away, shooting him a glare.

"Who told you to stop me from staying with Stella? She was absolutely terrified when they drew her blood."

The little girl wasn't satisfied either. She jumped off the sofa, marched over to kick Alaric twice, and tilted her head up to yell angrily,

But he did feel sorry for the kid, whose tiny arms were bruised from the needles.
