Stellan Shaw?
The dean racked his brain. During the morning meeting, they had indeed mentioned a special recruit who had aced the entrance exams with a perfect score and was supposed to report to the office today.
Top-tier talents were treated like royalty everywhere. The dean's expression softened as he pointed to the sofa in the corner. "Come in. I'm a bit busy at the moment, so have a seat and wait."
"Sure." The boy nodded, walking humbly into the office. As he sat down, his gaze casually drifted toward Theron.
Theron was looking down at his phone, completely oblivious.
The dean pulled out the disciplinary file, skimmed it, and handed it over nervously. "Mr. Blackthorne, please take a look."
Theron took the document and read it word for word. When his eyes reached the signature at the bottom, he suddenly froze.
The air in the room went dead silent.
"Mr. Blackthorne, this report was written by Aurelia. She knows the exact details. How about I call her down so you can ask her any questions directly?" the man suggested, carefully gauging Theron's reaction.
Theron's eyes flickered. "That won't be necessary. The report is incredibly clear and well-reasoned. I'm sure it's completely accurate." With that, he decisively closed the folder.
The school had already explained the incident clearly over the phone. The Blackthorne family had clearly sent someone down to ensure Mina wasn't being treated unfairly. Yet Theron took one glance at the file and backed off entirely, leaving the dean totally bewildered.
But a powerful heir dropping the issue was ultimately a win for the school. The dean carefully took the document back.
"Theron."
Just then, Mina pushed the door open. Her eyes swept the office before landing on Theron's face. "What are you doing here?"
"I had the morning off and thought I'd drop by to check on you." Theron stood up and gave the dean a curt nod. "I'll leave you to your work."
Mina glared at him. "I insulted her once, and you criticize me three times! Are you really my brother? Whose side are you on?"
Theron coughed awkwardly. "It's because I'm your brother that I know exactly how you are."
Mina seethed and shoved him again. Theron just sighed and let her vent her frustration.
The three of them joked and bickered their way into the Elite Talent Building.
"Isolde, what are you looking at?"
Isolde stood by the flowerbed holding a stack of papers, gazing intently at the young man walking next to Mina.
Zoey followed Isolde's gaze and let out a sigh of admiration. "That's Mina's brother, isn't it? I've heard he's incredibly successful. Did you see that single-star insignia on his shoulder? Only an executive officer is allowed to wear that."
