After bidding farewell to all her friends one by one, Amelia packed her luggage, ready to continue the journey around the world that she had yet to complete.
Stella accompanied her to the airport, holding her tightly and refusing to let go.
“Be careful with everything while you’re out there. If anything happens, call me right away. If you find something delicious, fun, or beautiful, remember to take pictures and send them to me. If you get tired and can’t find a place to rest, just come back-after all, you know the code to my house…”
Listening to her endless nagging, Amelia’s face was full of helplessness.
“I’m just going on a trip, not getting married and moving far away, Stella. Can you not be so sentimental?”
With just a few words, the mood of parting was ruined. Stella couldn’t help but pinch her lips.
“I’m just worried you’ll get carried away again. Last time you didn’t reply to my message for days. Isn’t it reasonable for me to remind you a few more times?”
“I’ve explained hundreds of times-I replied to you telepathically, but you just won’t let it go!”
The two of them bickered like children for a while. When it was almost time to board, they finally parted reluctantly.
After Amelia passed security with her backpack and was still looking for her seat on the plane, Stella’s message came through.
“!!! I just saw someone whose back looked just like Julian!”
That one sentence instantly put Amelia on alert.
She instinctively glanced around, and only after not seeing that familiar face did she feel slightly relieved.
“You must have seen wrong.”

Amelia was half convinced, half doubtful.
She hadn’t told anyone about her itinerary. How could Julian possibly know?
But to be safe, she still sent a message to Lewis to ask.
“Jules handed in his resignation two days ago. I don’t know where he is now.”
The moment she saw this message, a bad feeling surged in Amelia’s heart.
Julian resigned?
Then the person Stella just saw-could it really have been him?
