Brandon clapped his hands slowly. "Bella has quite the personality these days. You've taught her well, Sabrina."

"She's not usually like this," Sabrina stammered. "Brandon, you could have smoothed things over."

"What's there to smooth over?" Brandon shot back. "This is exactly who she is. She doesn't respect anyone." He turned to Beatrice with a polite smile. "Please excuse her, Beatrice. That's just how she behaves."
